If you appreciate Chinese culture, it is a great place to go. Level 6 library is my favorite. They changed opening hours in late Sep 2016, do note it.

I was here for my niece's annual cat-torturing session. Her violin classes culminates in a concert where kids of varying ages and skill levels perform together led by their instructor. The instructor / conductor, in a superhuman feat of strength, gets everyone together in an ensemble. For about an hour, friends and family sit in a darkened auditorium, and listen to them flex their bows across a variety of stringed instruments. This review is for the China Cultural Centre's large auditorium on the 4th floor. It's large and comfortable. The stage looks great. If you are driving, drop people off right in front where there is a drop-off point. Immediately keep left, and turn into the first carpark you see. It's underground and possibly the nearest one you can find in the area.

Very new building... Located beside Oxford Hotel and its opposite Grace SCC Church. Taxi stand is available infront of the building. There's a library on the 6th floor with a patio. Theatre is on Level 4 and 5. Went there for an event, theatre is in a cosy setting. 95% of seats provide good view of the stage. Nice place for small events. Lobby is open for seating.

Grand and iconic! The China Cultural Centre has plenty to offer! The 11-storey building consists of exhibition, library, theatre, garden, lounge and studios. It was opened in late 2015 by President Xi Jinping during his state visit to Singapore. It is conveniently located in the central area of Singapore. Just take the train to Bras Basah MRT Station and walk a short distance to China Cultural Centre!

Went this afternoon(Sat) at 1.30pm as I would like to understand what this cultural centre does. Finally found the entrance, but the security guard unhappily came and told me off, saying it's closed. I explained it was not indicated anywhere that it's closed. He replied rudely that I'm indicating that he was lying. I asked to clarify if the center is closed everyday during this period? He again rudely replied it will not be opened for the whole week. I was baffled. Really am keen to find out what this centre is about.
