★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Upon stepping into the hall, I was immersed in a detail-rich history of past immigrants. There was an altar of the Chinese Historican, Zhu Xi, and a Chinese painting of Hongwu Emperor. They had annual gatherings with other nation's Choo clan especially with Indonesia, China and Malaysia. Locally, Chinese festivals like Mid-Autumn, Dragon Boat were celebrated together. The committee member, Choo Choon Seng, welcomed me like a family member. I recommend all individuals bearing the Choo surname to join in and to create a modern network and to carry on the purpose of a clan.
