β β β β β Was good in general but I had an issue with the sago. We ordered the white chendol and mango sago with mango pop. The sago was so hard until it was crunchy, very unusual in desserts. Aside from the sago, we enjoyed everything else. Would be great if portion had been larger though. A bit expensive for the portion.

β β β β β Durian Ice Kacang. No more durian purΓ©e hence added $2.50 more for the durian flesh. As the flesh is a little bitter, it doesnβt go too well with the others as a whole. But nevertheless, overall the dessert is nice, esp the Atap Chee! Big and soft. Environment is great too.

β β β β β Quality desserts with a vast range of choices for all with a sweet tooth! 4.5 stars in my opinion.
Enjoyed our desserts tonight at the restaurant which has the Hong Kong dessert shop vibes. The space is well decorated and seats are comfortable enough for a short stay. Location is at an air-conditioned lobby, and unfortunately does not accept credit card / paywave transactions. Paylah and paynow are accepted.
The White Chendol w D24 Durian was great! I enjoyed how the stringy coconut strands help to add texture and flavour to the dessert. Durian paste was also fresh and of good quality
The Mango Sago w Grass Jelly & Red Bean was also pretty awesome. It had 2 types of mango(sweet + sour) and has ice flakes to add a soft crunch and texture to each bite.
Overall, I find the desserts pretty well done - one of the rarer dessert places that consider texture as part of the dining experience.... Or am i overthinking this? Lol. Go try for yourself and decide.

?1 Paya Lebar Link, PLQ1 #01-02
Just next to Paya Lebar MRT, @chowzanplq1 is an idea venue for desserts after a meal or simply to chill and relax which is air-conditioned and cosy. You can find yourself spoilt for choices with their wide variety of hot & cold desserts which are freshly made daily.
?White chendol, red bean with attap seed $5.90: Uniquely different, the chendol was white on color and packed with a nice coconut flavour with soft texture. Attap seeds were of good size and tender. Gula melaka & coconut milk was fragrant. ?
?Mango sago with konjac pearl & vanilla ice cream $7.50: Mango sago was packed with a thick & creamy base which was of natural sweetness. Konjac pearl was chewy and additional satisfaction with the vanilla ice cream. Mango lovers need to try this!
?Honeydew watermelon sago $5.90: Familiar dessert which was packed with generous amount of fresh fruits and sago was of right texture.
In general, the shaved ice served here was also smoother than those you get typically and sweetness was natural and not over. I will come back again!

β β β β β Really enjoyed the dessert here. The queue was short and ordered the mango sago pomelo with mango pop. Was not disappointed. A great take on an old style dessert. The mango pop just pop in your mouth and the coconut was a good balance to the sweetness of the mango.
Will be back. Very enjoyable.

β β β β β Recognised this place from TikTok. Thought it wasnβt anything interesting, but being there physically was entirely different from watching a TikTok review.
The ambience of the place was very casual, and it made me feel relaxed. It was beautifully decorated to make the place look youthful. Even the boss himself looked young!
Ordered their Watermelon Sago, and Mango Sago with Mango Konjac. Very reasonably priced, and very delicious. This places makes other established dessert places a run for their money.
Please note that a 30c charge is applicable per dabao item.
Overall, would come back to this place to try their specialty item: Peach Gum.

β β β β β Pleasantly surprised by how fine the ice bits in ice kacang was, as compared to some other stalls.
The chendol with durian was a boom mix of flavours, atap seed, coconut jelly, sago etc. Would recommend to eat this with a friend or 2 as it may be too much for 1.
Ordered peach gum as well (not in photos). The peach gum was littered abundantly with ingredients, and one should go for warm if you'd like to go gentle on tummy.
Price is slightly on higher than average (thus more of a 4.5 star) perhaps due to location; but worth a visit!

β β β β β One of the best desserts I've tried! Super love the mango sticky rice that is infused with blue pea flower and a slight hint of salt. It's just perfectly balanced!
Highly recommended if you are around PLQ or Singpost.
Do say hi to Boss John! Super warm and friendly. I highly recommend Chow Zan. θΆ
