First time here. Very crowded on Sunday evening. We queued around 30 mins to order the food and another 20 mins for our first dish to be served. The dish was served one at a time which I dislike. We ordered a few sticks of Lok Lok as appetiser and they deep fried before serving, nice. Sweet sour pork, deep fried Sotong and Cereal Prawn are so so zhi char style but the fried beef slice was tender and delicious. We like the signature tofu too. Highly commendable service staff who are extremely friendly and cheerful. Will be back again for the curry fish head and the lotus leaf wrapped duck but never during weekend peak hour again.

A hidden gem in Lower Delta - prices were reasonable (and serving sizes were alright), and not only do they offer zhi char dishes, they also have lok lok, satay, and even freshly shucked oysters. All dine-in customers are also entitled to complimentary desserts. The service here is pretty good too, we would return. . Fried Tofu with Pepper and Salt (S$10) - individual fried silken tofu cubes, crispy and yummy! . Four Heavenly Kings (S$10) and Sambal Kang Kong (S$8) - the kang kong came piping hot, and it was spicy, with a good amount of shrimps in the dish. The 4 Heavenly Kings was also fragrant and yummy with a different type of sambal. Fried Chicken with Dried Chilli (S$12) - deep fried till golden brown, served with dried chilli. Slightly different cooking style from the typical dried chilli chicken, but still yummy. Would have liked more fried peanuts though. . Lok Lok (S$1.50 per stick) - a bit greasy. Bacon with enoki mushroom - quite nice but there was lots of fried batter. Fried flat fish - it was quite hard to eat (it wasn’t that crispy and it was a bit sweet), neither was this filling. We also had Japanese scallop (lots of fried batter too, pretty good), some kind of Chinese fish ball (no batter, just deep fried, interesting but didn’t know what flavour this was), and beancurd skin (no batter and my favourite item of the lot). About the free desserts: Beancurd - quite a small serving, not bad for a free dessert but had a slightly different smell to it. Popcorn - this was very popular, there wasn’t much of this left. Pretty basic. . I found their sambal chilli interesting too, although my family didn’t quite like it. . I also bought their rice dumpling at the cashier (S$3.20) - not too bad. One of my favourite restaurants in Singapore. Great food at reasonable prices. Wide range of food from fresh seafood - crabs, lobsters, fish, clams etc to satay and steam boat. Friendly bosses. Gets very packed fast though.

Good food at reasonable prices. Fish for the steamboat are very fresh. Satay was good too. Staff were polite and food were served fast. There are complementary ice creams, soya bean bean curd, pop corn and even balloons. It is situated inside an industrial estate so there are lots of parking. Overall, a suitable place for family gatherings. Now that they are not allowed to place tables outside of their premises, it is becoming a little too cramp.

Good here is very delicious. Better to call in make reservations if not have to wait more than 1 hr. Been here a few times with family for dinner. The curry fish head really good and sambal potato leaves.

It’s crowded during dinner time. You will need to Q to order at the counter. The red grouper steamboat is great. Shrimp paste chicken θ™Ύι…±ιΈ‘ is tasty. Veg is a bit sandy.

5 star for food! They are really good. Especially the duck. Love it! Only available on weekends though. The little downside is that it gets really crowded and chaotic on weekends. U even have to queue to order. But after you have managed to place an order, you can relax and be sure the food is great. Price is reasonable too. Free ice cream after dinner! Is a bonus!

Good food, fresh and live seafood but limited drinks selection. Satay is good but not available after dark. Tofu is soft and creamy but sauce lacked flavour. Mixed vegetables with sambal is good but too much spice and it covered the fresh taste of the vegetables. Clams were good and fresh, spicy level also balanced. The fresh oysters also is a high recommendation. Great find.
