Derek Bicycle Services - 1091 Lower Delta Rd

I chance upon Derek’s shop because my usual neighbourhood bicycle shop do not have the parts to repair my broken spoke on my bike. I normally wouldn’t visit such a shop because I am just a grab cyclist on a cheap bicycle ( because I saw the numbers of expensive bicycle in his shops for repairs). Not only am I overwhelm with his attitude towards me , but the level of service/care he take to repair and went beyond to even index my gears shifting issue ( at no extra cost). This is one shop who will have me as a loyal customer for life.

Came across Derek Bicycle Services while searching for bike servicing since the previous one I went to around the same area didn't seem quite right. Was really delighted and guess sometimes one has to make a mistake before appreciating a real customer-centric bike servicing. Gerald took great care of my bike, even imparted his knowledge - taking time off after my bike servicing to help adjust my riding position and fit the bike accordingly. The cleaning was tip-top where I can really see that the parts were cleaned to the point of shine, unlike the previous servicing. Glad to have found Derek Bicycle Services!

I tried different bicycle shops in Singapore and hands down this is the best place to go. Great staff, always go beyond to make sure your bicycle is in best conditions possible. Very patience if you have any question or concerns. The price is reasonable.

Was scouting for service centre for my bike and was fortunate enough to find Derek Bicycle Services. I went there and was received by Derek himself who provided a very professional and friendly service. He pin pointed what needs to be done including redoing my handle bar tape which was unsatisfactorily done by the shop I bought the tape from. I left my bike with Derek, fully confident that my bike will be serviced well. HOWEVER, when I got my bike back, the bike was not just serviced, but TRANSFORMED. It looked and performed better than new. The way Derek and his service centre handled customer showed that they are there to make friends rather than money, to build relationship rather than business. I really doubt I can find any better service centre than DBS. Thanks Derek for the friendship you extended to us cyclists. We hope you can open a few more service centres around the island; cyclists like us need you with us, to ensure an enjoyable ride any time, any where... ?

I am a beginner rider and do not know much about bike but thanks to Derek who is so friendly and nice to give advise what is recommended to be done for my bike with a first check. He then sent video and photos of part that is worn and need to be change after further diagnosis. And when i collect my bike, he taught me how to take care of my bike and some basic lesson. He even help me to put my bike into the car nicely! Awesome service!

First visit there and their service blew my mind! Gerald was very knowledgeable n detailed in his explanation. No hidden cost here. Everything is straight up and clear cut before agreeing for work to start. Videos of bike issue was also sent by the staff. Work is certainly top notch. Will certainly come back again!
