Felt being cheated! They doesn’t know what they are selling. Basically all the cichlids are in the green dirty pond. It is really hard to choose what you are buying when fishes are caught up in the net. I asked for Rainbow Tropheus which I paid $30/pc and end up I realised what I got are just normal Firecrackers Tropheus when I put into my tank which only cost less than $10 in local fish shop.

Bought 5 cichlids at 5cm for $15 each. Nice lady boss.

Sky prices. Is much more expensive. They're friendly but ...... high price. When we believe supplies farm should be having lower prices. Yet is much more higher then those normal shop. No point travel all the way there to search for cichlid.

Couple unprofessional and not honest. Bought some African cichlids recommended and picked by husband from their dirty ponds. Went home and realized that some of the fishes were deformed and also over paid. Found out I could have paid half the price if I buy these fishes from other farms or aquarium shops. Will never step back to the farm! You only get fooled once!

We went back twice in a week because of the reasonable prices and good quality fishes. Owners are very friendly and knowledgeable and they have so many varieties of cichlids! Uncle is eager to answer your questions and will also give you tips and suggestions for care and breeding. Definitely worth going to see if you're interested in cichlids!

Amazing fishes, colours are very vibrant. Indeed is good quality. I've read most of the review and still couldn't understand why most reviews mentioned its expensive... :/ Old uncle roll up his pants and help to catch fishes. He even helps to choose those has eggs female fishes. Cool ?

3 months ago, have been looking for a Cichild fish to cross breed with my blood parrot fish. Went to many places, unable to get it, either overly expensive or the Cichild fish quality was small and unhealthy. By chance, found this place while driving to get some plants around Sungei Tengah area. Even its a Cichild fish farm, they are selling other kind of fishes too. Yesterday, I have bought some baby Angel fishes. The uncle has given me some baby Cichild fishes too. Within 3 months, I have been to Cichild aquarium at least 4 times. Everytime definitely will get something from the fish farm. The service is awesomely friendly and the uncle knowledge on fishes is beyond words. Condition and variety of the Cichild fishes are excellent too. The pricing is absolutely reasonable. The owners are not pushy and give you ample time to select your fishes. Furthermore, at time, the lady boss may also give me some free gifts. ???? This place is definitely 1 of my favourite place to get my fishes in Singapore. Furthermore most of the fishes are locally bred. We should give more support to local.

Bought 7 from them, a month later 6 died. No doubt beautiful fishes but they died of similar causes, cloudy eyes and fin and tail rot. Either their fishes are used to the fish farm's pond condition or they are just unhealthy. Their fishes are extremely overly priced, $35 each even for juveniles approximately 5 to 6cm long. On the other hand my other existing 12 cichlids that I previously purchased from Qian Hu between $2 to $3 had no such issues. Imagine their dragon blood peacocks asking for $35 each while you can get them at $2 to 4 from other shops. Sorry but that is just daylight robbery! Also viewing of their fishes is simply a nightmare. The pond waters are greenish, no way to view from above. You can only select from the few fishes that the old uncle caught with his net. This place may be more suitable for hobbyist who are experienced and are in search for particular breeds. My advise is to just get juvenile african cichlids from Qian Hu (just beside them) and grow them yourself. Cheap and good. Photos below.
