★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Very good place to check out if you are looking for somewhere off the beaten track. Entrance is just behind bus stop opposite Ngee Ann Poly. Best to go around 7am + as the sun rays are really beautiful when the fog has yet to lift. Recommend to wear boots or good hiking shoes and gloves as it'll get muddy.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Get ready for the muddy and wetty experience in the forest, please please please don't wear any expensive sport shoe to visit or else you will cry at the end. Don't start your journey from Opp Ngee Ann Poly bus stop, best to make it from Old Bukit Timah Railway (walkable from King Albert MRT station)

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Go early if you'd like a more peaceful hike or walk. It has been crowded lately. More importantly, please be careful if you are going off the beaten track and people have known to be lost or injured in the area (make sure your phone is fully charged!). There are some incredible bird species you will spot in this forest - Hornbill, Spotted Wood Owl, Changeable Hawk-eagle!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This probably is one of the biggest hiking area without any proper markings and signages - probably also the closest you can get to a legit adventure in Singapore. It’s like a massive obstacle course with nature being your biggest obstacle. Depending on the rainfall during the season, you may find yourself crossing mini rivers and muddy swamps. There would also be some sections where you can deviate from the main path and discover something new/interesting. Will be greeted by old railway tracks at the very end of the forest. Be prepared to get wet and muddy!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Jungley, natural, overgrown in parts but totally fun, interesting and challenging to explore and hike through. Come early in the morning if you can when it's cooler and hopefully not busy with other like-minded adventurers.
From the Rail Corridor entrances, it is around a 30-45min trek via the old Railway Track and old Jurong Tunnel before making it out to the HDBs around Sunset View and Sunset Drive.
Very muddy and challenging in parts so come prepared and take care.
Well worth exploring whilst you still can before any future redevelopment kicks off!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Pretty undisturbed for most part, but there's soil corrosion so beware.
Clementi Forest does not have a proper entrance - It's behind a bus stop.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The most amazing hike I've done in Singapore. It's a bit tricky there are streams to jump across and very steep sections you have to climb up or down. Would recommend proper footwear and backpack and sunhat. It rained very heavily when we were halfway through but that made it more fun and helped us cool down
