★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Be careful when dealing with Robin. Left a very unpleasant taste in my mouth in recent encounter. Sent my pants for alteration around the thigh area, and my wife reminded him to maintain straight cut, ie don’t taper the calves area. After collection, calves area are altered and now it’s too tight. He insist we told him that we wanted it altered. I said I can show him all my pants, none of them are tapered like that. My pants are bought from overseas, now I can’t even wear them! No remediation offer except “I’ll release as much as the cloth allows, but nothing more I can do”. Very dishonest.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Robin, the boss, is a true gentleman. My first contact with him was when I sent my suit to him for alteration back in 2019.
After a period of illnesses I had dropped 8kg and two inches at my waistline. The original tailor in Yishun refused the job outright and so did many others.
When I went to collect the suit I was informed that the linings were badly degraded and he had to change it. The price he quoted did not include that. Yet he declined my offer to compensate him.
How many tailors will do that? Here is one old school master craftsman with old school honor. And his work and stocks are at par.

Although more expensive than the usual Indian tailors that I visit at Far East Plaza or Lucky Plaza, the tailor, Robin did quite a good job with the stitching, and the Italian fabric that I have chosen was very smooth. Also made a shirt which was also with smooth fabric. I really recommend this place

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I have been visiting this tailor for past 10 years. Robin is a kind man and charges are reasonable for a trade that's struggling in high rental places . In this neighbourhood the rents are reasonable with a furniture shop , sewing machines and accessories nearby. There's a shop selling baking stuff too.
