β β β β β A nice clean supermarket thatβs bright, airy and not overly crowded. A fair amount of their products are imported, so it does leave an impression that it is slightly more expensive compared to the other Supermarket chains.
However, based on my purchases, the differences were negligible, so your experience may vary. I like that despite it not being massive, they have a cold cuts deli, a chicken rotisserie, ribs, sushi counter, even live lobsters and oysters all within reach of each other.
Staff are also willingly to point out where particular items might be. Not a bad place to shop.

β β β β β A supermarket with lots of gourmet food and wines. You can check out a wide selection of Japanese food, frozen food, ice cream and even different types of condiments. There were also less crowd during off peak hours. Do expect slightly higher prices than your usual neighbourhood supermarket. If you are looking for a relaxing buy at supermarket, this will be the right one for you.

β β β β β Bought the sushi bento and smoked duck breast black pepper flavoured. Too bad they won't slice the smoked duck for me. But when you bite the whole bit of meat, you will find some satisfaction there. Try it out.

Cold Storage at west coast plaza new setup image by rearranging its racks and display of items for more space to its customers. The new self payment terminals and a staff on duty to guide is much appreciated of its innovative approach. Soon to be copied by its competitors in BUSSINESS as what they have been doing since their beginning.

β β β β β Standard Cold storage, there is both cell service counter and extended counter for cashier system, making busy hour much more manageable. There are fresh fruits vegetables and flowers, basically all the daily necessities. I just wish they would have more options and stock up items for a vegan, impossible or beyond meat etc . In terms of organization and cleaness definitely all right.
Pros:
Various options of product
Self service cashier system
The trolley can assess all the way to the entrance or car park
Cons:
The shopping mall itself is far away from Metro station

β β β β β Quite a nice supermarket to shop in. Reasonable size and not crowded most of the time. Stocked Japanese products to cater to the Japanese living nearby and premium range products. For those mass products, do expect to pay higher than Sheng Shiong nearby. So itβs better to buy only those products with controlled price by the suppliers or those products that canβt be easily found in other supermarkets like their delicatessen range. Customer service is the biggest weakness as it is just average, depending on who you approached.

β β β β β Quite pleasantly surprised that Cold Storage and Dairy Farm group decided to have an outlet here at West Coast Plaza. It's not exactly the first place that I'd think of, that carries a premium vibe across the mall. Perhaps it's also DFG's way of segmenting Cold Storage from CS Fresh in recent times.
Anyhow, gorgeous supermarket, with gorgeous prices. It's definitely sufficiently large for your daily needs. We got our tea bags and left soon after. Experience is also quite holistically pleasant.
