★ ★ ★ ★ ★ First time been at this shop trying to restring a racket, the uncle seems not willing to take the job, questioned me why you need to restring as the current string is still good, told him over the time the string performance drop, he said my string work may not be as good as the current one, the uncle seems not confident but defensive instead, finally he took the job and I was told no receipt been issued, I then questioned how to proof that you took my racket, he said his customers are all return customer, he never issue receipt to customers so far, when I kept request a simple receipt for proof, he immediately thrown me back $10 said I won't take this job. A very bad experience in my first visit at this shop, general comment: the uncle is a very personality and sensitive, not a easy going person, most importantly low EQ dealing with customer. Definitely not recommend this shop.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I have been stringing my tennis racquets here for over 30 years. Prices are very reasonable and stringing has been very reliable. I have not once been unhappy or dissatisfied with the stringing. The shop is run by a friendly husband and wife couple. I highly recommend them.

Hope the shop can be taken over by aubergine who is equally passionate about sports and keeps the reasonable rates and neighbourhood vibes to this place

Base on your past Google reviews, you have more complains than compliments for service rendered to you (as of date 12/10/21, out of 17 reviews, 9 were negative, 2stars and below). This clearly shows what sort of consumer you are.
Last week I went to his shop to restring 3 of my rackets, it is way cheaper than elsewhere (not mentioning). In summary I’m content with his final touch on my rackets.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Uncle was patient in explaining different types of tension for individuals. He is not pushy type to sell for expensive string. Got my Yonex bg 68 string at $20. He sells different types of grips ranging from $2.
I will definitely come back.
