Did not know why most of the pasta cream or without cream will have chilli. I ordered 2 baked fish pasta for my kids but when I opened it up I got so disappointed cause the pasta have chilli and my kids can't have it. In the end me and my hubby in order not to waste we have to finish it and my kids end up eating maggi.

I bought a Shopback voucher for 2 mixed grill sets during the heightened alert time. It was for takeaway sets. I redeemed it today when dining in is allowed for 2. I purposely went at 2pm so that the place is not crowded. But the staff insisted that this is a takeaway deal. But the place is practically empty, why insist on that? Food is better eaten on the spot. So he said he'll pack it for me with takeaway containers and I can then eat there. Why pay additional $0.60 for 2 disposable boxes just to throw it away? Not environmentally responsible. Must learn to exercise some flexibility here. I have also purchased other takeaway deals from other sellers who gladly allowed us to eat there as chances of us buying more food or at least drinks are higher. Also we need to key in a 4 digit code to void the coupon. He insisted that it had to be keyed in by him and not by me. The code is a secret. Who in their right mind would key in a code and void their own ticket without redeeming the food? With COVID now, you would want to minimise transferring of germs or virus. I asked him if he has something for me to sanitise my phone after he touched it & he said no. So how do the staff sanitise their hands at work? This is a very unpleasant experience. You have lost a customer for good. I will not be back and do not recommend others to patronise too. And now the food. The meat items are overcooked till they're dry and hard. Aglio olio is ok.

Delicious western grills and bento in the heartland

On 03 May 2022, had the pork ribs and chicken chop with spaghetti, corn, and salad. With mushroom soup and tomato soup.. the taste is just spectacular ?

Didnt really like collins after eating twice at northpoint outlet. Thought I can give this shop a try. Haiz same thoughts. Taste wise, very meh. Normal hawker western also nicer.... the chicken cutlet and chciken chop quite tough. Fries also not shiok. Coleslaw was drenched in sauce and didnt taste pleasant..

Not bad for the price we paid - we used Burpple for a chicken chop and pork sausage meal that came w a tomato soup, and added on a side of sweet potato waffle fries. Total we paid $20 for 2 people. The pasta was very dry and tasteless and the salad had too much mayonnaise. The corn also had no taste at all. The chicken and sausage were not bad but it wasn’t too fantastic. The best was probably the sweet potato fries which were crispy and tasty.

The chef’s special aglio olio is really good ($9.50) and it was quite a generous serving. Tried a bit of the mixed grill (the chicken chop and sausage) and they were decent. Cajun fries ($4) were average but once again, common grill was quite generous in their serving which is a plus point. Price may be a bit higher than that of hawker centre/coffee shop western food shops, but personally I feel that it is justified with their comparatively more special offerings and variety

Didn’t expect much from a western store found in a hawker centre but wow, it really exceeded my expectations! Price point was fair in terms of portion and taste and I extremely love the fries! It was a filling and wonderful meal. We had the food takeaway and the service was fast. Would come back again someday to try other fries and meals :)
