Tried locating place, known locally as one of the nostalgic proprietary film developing shops of the up till the 21st century digital cameras made these 'redundant' per se. But one would still require instructions for right posing for a protrait shot to ensure minimum standards, say for a passport photo to renew identification documents. If at all, such shops are better than those booth studio shots and do offer some touch ups to lighting, etc. At the time of this writing, I am sadden to know upon my first venture to the shop; which offered a discount to students and possibly staff of PSB Academy a discount on photo taking; has been taken over by a differenr trade vendor. Fortunately, nearby at Tiong Bahru plaza, has sprouted out a modern version of the above mentioned store managed and run by 2 ladies who do a decent photoshoot at a reasonable rste. Hopefully they might extend to give students who patronise their shop a discount in the near future. 1 star would have been a logical rating for a misleading inform. But the 2nd star was for the length of time probably endured by the proprietor to do what was possible for people familiar in the neighbourhood.
