Another popular stall in the Kovan Market and Food Centre. I liked the braised pork and sauce.

Tried their Hainanese Pork Chop set at $3.50. The pork chop was tasty but the meat was a bit too hard. The pork chop sauce was quite sweet, not so bad. Cabbage was normal, nothing to rave about. The curry gravy was nice, quite spicy. They do have a wide variety of other dishes you can choose from. Overall I feel it was still a decent stall with reasonable pricing. Will try out other stalls when I'm in this area.

Ordered the tau kwa with minced pork, petai with ikan bilis and lady fingers, $5. Way too expensive since it is just minced pork and ikan bilis. The rice is not cooked well enough. Preferred the other hainanese cook food stall at the same hawker centre. Not going back to this stall.

Long queues at this stall but the queue moves fast. Tried the Hainanese Pork Chop Set which is reasonably priced at $3.50 which includes a slab of Pork Chop, some Stewed Cabbage and a Fried Egg with Rice. The Pork Chop is rather soft with a Pinkish Center. (Some may not like the Pinkish Colour though) Can't really taste the Pork though as its overpowered by the Sourish Ketchup Sauce on it. There isn't much curry drenched on the dish and tbh, I don't taste much of the Curry too. Cabbage is soft with a slight bite to it. Overall not a meal to shout about, but the price is reasonable and it works as a decent enough meal to fill you up.

Nice hawker food. The pork chop is coated with sweet sour plum sauce, it would be nicer without the sauce. Curry is really nice, Chinese boys style with added fragrance. The rest deep fried egg and vegetables, all for $3.50.
