Reputation is nothing to the boss: Teo of this salon. Punggol Waterpoint was closed down without giving clients with ongoing package any notice. And existing clients are forced to visit 2 other Crescendo Salon that are super inconvenient for patrons staying at Punggol (convenience is one reason why people choose a salon near to where they stay). Fine I accepted all of these nonsense, took leave to visit AMK branch for my package rebonding. My hairstylist is overflood by alot of clients booking which he DO NOT EVEN KNOW ABOUT. The boss apparently just throw as much as possible clients to him and made alot of clients waiting for my hairstylist service and my procedure was drag longer as there are too many customers and just 1 hairstylist able to do the job. So obviously due to negligence, my hair wasn't done properly and was damage severely. I texted the hairstylist who refer me to the boss. The boss DID NOT RESPONSE after the issue. And I still have ongoing package with them! Very irresponsible boss and I am considering suing.

It's so difficult to get appointments! Signed the VIP package without VIP treatment (The pushy boss told me that i don't have to make appointments after the signing of this package-i can just walk-in like VIP). Waterway Branch closed down I have no choice to visits both AMK and Changi Point branch which is always crowded and lots of clients' booking! Full disappointment of the service. How to finish my on-going package!!!!!!!!!!! I want my money back!!!!! (PLEASE AVOID THIS SALOON FROM SIGNING THE PACKAGE)

I went for a haircut but was harrassed by the boss of AMK branch to top up for their best selling scalp treatment. First of all, haircut was done by a young stylist - apparent to me is a junior stylist but the boss introduced him to me as their senior stylist. Gosh! I only realised after washing my hair on 2nd day of the treatment, my hair length was inconsistent!!! When it comes to treatment the so-call senior stylist only applied the minty paste to the top of my scalp when it’s a scalp treatment i paid for. I asked him what about the rest of the areas, he claimed treamtment of the scalp only need focus on the top. Dont sound logical to me but nothing i can do. That really frustrates me! At end of the session, the boss approached me again. It was very hard selling and he goes on and on as if begging me. I felt very harrassed but not the kind who knows to turn people away. After a long session of harrassment, i stupidly signed up and paid few hundred dollars for the treatment package. Can you imagine, my friend who was waiting for me at the 2nd level of Djitsun Mall witnessed everything and could tell from far i was being harrassed! Anyway, too late to regret. Just have to learn from lesson.

Just had my worst customer service experience ever at Crescendo hairsalon at Far East! In the middle of my haircut, the guy asked me if I want to wash my hair, and said it costs an extra $20. I was shocked and showed him the coupon again which clearly states 'Haircut, wash & blow'. He just insisted that it is not included, but I refused to pay. So he took off the cloth and refused to continue cutting my hair! I told him that other salons dont even charge for washing and he replied 'go to other salons then' ------- A bit of background, I was approached by a girl while I was sitting down at Raffles place to buy this coupon for $20. So I wanted to utilise it and called in to make an appointment. The lady who picked up the phone was extremely rude, saying 'If you cant speak english you can speak chinese instead', 'hurry up, I have other customers waiting', and also 'No, friday evenings are very busy, you must come on weekday daytime'. I regretted going through with this appointment, just because I wanted to utilise what I have already paid and Far East is the most convenient. Lesson learnt, don't believe in coupons, and pay attention to warning signs.

Very friendly and good service and price is quite good too.. not too pricey and yet good quality hair products too.. Staff do not try to aggressively promote their packages which is nice.. And a free mask is given too .

Worst haircut i’ve had! The old lady in amk branch has no skill at all! The haircut was so ugly that i have to visit another hairsalon to trim my hair!

Just want to share my truthful review. I have patronise this hair salon for 5 years+. From waterwaypoint to Amk Outlet. The salon has consistently provided good hair cut, rebonding, colouring, hair and scalp treatment. I am always satisfied with their service. The young boss is friendly and greet all his customers. He would also take his time to explain the product that he is using. This show that he is confidence in the hair product that his salon is using. Ya I understand that the boss would try to sell his salon package (he is not aggressive selling), but at least, this salon delivered their services well. And I feel that their pricing is not too pricey as compare to other shopping mall salon. It will be even more worth it to get their package. My hairstylist is Peng. He is a quiet young man which has been with the salon for more than 5 years. He is meticulous and I am always satisfied with his work. Recently I just did my rebonding and colouring by him, I am happy with the result. I will recommend this salon. =)

Good service esp for people with scalp psoriasis. Just let them know. They're gentle and understanding and will avoid using products that will not be suitable for you. I got my hair bleached and did balayage here. Love it.
