★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Good value, Indian fundamental cuisine. Walk a few blocks past the fancy restaurants for tourists from India. This is working-class basics at a fair price. Chana (garbanzo beans)? Perfect, nice and dry, sufficiently cooked, spiced just right. Capatis? A bit oily and maybe not atta flour. Coconut chutney? Almost perfect (no black mustard seeds). Dal? A bit soupy. Service: very good, don't expect anything more than wax paper on a deep tray. Payment? Accepts NETS (Singapore bank cards) and cash. Price: SGD3.20 for two capati and garbanzo beans
No complaints. I will come back.

Reasonable taste of all the other dishes.
About 0430pm their Vadas comes out. The Masala vada is my Favourite . I cannot find any other place in Serangoon Road like the one. Super good and only 0.60cents. The omlate is very good too.
