The overall experience was pretty sub standard. The restaurant seemed understaffed, the order wasnt taken or served as requested and despite our poor feedback we were forced to pay 10% service charge and poor justification was given that "...we served all you asked for you" Sorry it doesn't count if a customer orders chole + bhature and items are brought in a time gap of 10+ minutes and after a reminder and request. Further even if I give leeway for the above, cant give any points for poor quality of food/service 1. Requested for no dhaniya, but all dishes were full of dhaniya 2. The gravy of chana masala was super sweet and tasted like paneer We went in to eat at this place because of its pure veg offering and clean ambience but surely do not recommend the same after our experience. Try at your own risk.

Excellent food and amazing service! Since its inception at CityHall in 2008, NALAN has been my favorite Indian restaurant in Singapore. They've opened a new location in Little India. While restaurants, predictably, try to save money on ingredient quality, the cuisine at NALAN is remarkable in both quality and flavor. The staff are friendly and courteous. The ambiance is beautiful. The plates and table are spotless. Little India provides a fantastic dining experience for those who enjoy North Indian cuisine.

I always liked the Nalan at city hall for their food. So I decided to go to the little India Nalan today. It was such a huge disappointment. There is no cleanliness. The tables and chairs are arranged so close that you feel you are have a communal meal. The prices are extremely high and the service is zero. While we were there, we saw so many people just leaving the restaurant without food after seeing the condition.

Quite frankly the food is quite subpar and the prices were ridiculous despite such lackluster quality. Even the tea was just passable while the food itself was no better or even worse than whatever you can get at Tekka Market. If your looking for quality food at a good price, this is the last place you should be going to. Any smaller corner shop that sells their food at affordable prices will be a much better spot to go to. Better yet, just go to any kopithiam or Indian Muslim stall in Little India, you will surely get better dishes at far cheaper prices

Nalan is a new restaurant in Little India. If you're searching for delicious, authentic North Indian cuisine, Nalan is the place to go. I've been going there for years, and the food quality hasn't changed. Also, the atmosphere is distinct from other restaurants and exudes a pleasant mood. Their Gobi Manchurian and Paneer Fried Rice are absolutely amazing! My friends and I had a fantastic time in Little India.

Good food but atrociously priced food. I went here for lunch and was shocked. For 1 kulcha the price was exorbitant. I paid 7 dollars. The ambience isn't that good. The food tastes like every other north Indian restaurant. What I paid here could easily be the same price I paid for two north Indian meals in another restaurant. I got a samosa chat, Gobi Manchurian, malai kofta, dal makhani, 1 roti, 2 naans, and 1 kulcha. The total for this came to a whopping 100 dollars. I was genuinely shocked. There are better restaurants out there that offer the same services and food but at a much more cost-effective price. Horrible and horrendous. This place is a rip-off.

Nalan Restaurant , I am their regular customer. To be honest I am not a vegetarian food lover until i went to Nalan restaurant on 2019 which is located at City Hall (Main Branch). I can said that this is one of the BEST purely vegetarian Indian restaurants in the Singapore. Taste and quality is pretty good. Ambience and hygiene is one of the best in the city. They opened a new restaurant at Little India which is located at center of Little India Town. Very nice place with North Indian Cuisines. Me and My husband tried their food (below pictures), it was super taste good. Their menu are totally different from City Hall. For North Cuisine lovers definitely need have to give a try at here.

Great food! Good North Indian cuisine! It has been one of Singapore's most beloved restaurants since it opened in CityHall on 2008 and opened in Little India ( 82 Serangoon Road) Congratulations!
