Second, you must order 1 drink and 1 food item if you want to work / study at there but it is not posted in public. Third, you are not allowed to have your own water at all even though you ordered the food at there. Not recommended.

While the tea is nothing to shout about (normal fragrant green tea), the pies really stood out. A pot of tea costs $6.90. Note: there are no hot water refills for the tea. The tea bah just went to waste. The filling was substantial, easily beating the pies at starbucks and other casual coffee joints. The price was $7.90 each. The price appeara steep at first but is gradually justified by the quality. What could be better? The prices should be upfront on the menu display and not only present itself in the receipt. It may be deceiving to most consumers.

J	Justin Yeo on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Iced matcha ($7.90) was a bit too sweet and had sugar granules inside. Not an ideal place to sit and wait if you only want a drink. Staff told me there is a minimum order (not in menu) if I wanted to sit there for a 'long time'. I said maybe I'll sit for 30 mins since I was waiting for someone, and she accepted my order. But after clarifying the dining time was about 40 -45 mins I sat there for 40 mins, but only had 1 drink. At the 40 min mark the staff asked again if I wanted a pastry to go, since I only had 1 drink and I had taken out my laptop (for urgent work). I took that as a sign to leave and packed up quickly. Cafe had customers but was not fully packed. Others who had bought extra pastries and food did not seem to get the same treatment

The quality and aroma of the coffee and matcha are very normal or below average. It might not worth the price compared to other cafes. The Chicken Pot Pie is nice and tasty. They only accepts cash and PayNow.
