Recently renovated salon has very comfortable chair and modern equipment. Hair stylists are friendly and professional. Fees are competitive.

The first time I went to Hiro, I had read the positive reviews here. It was a simple colour and cut, overall great experience. Hence I signed as a member, and had no qualms returning. I sat through 7.5 hrs, 2 rounds of bleaching, colouring then treatment. I was assured I would get the lilac grey that I asked for. Even though my hair colour was almost black after the whole session, I was assured that it would fade steadily over the next 2 weeks to my desired colour. With that trust in Hiro, I eagerly waited and religiously used colour shampoo and hair mask. Guess what? The lilac grey never appeared, and my colour is now a blonde brown, which was close to my original colour. And severely damaged (from the bleaching). I thought it could have been my hair, but I'd still like to hear Hiro's professional response. I visited him on Mon, and to my dismay, he simply told me it's because I hadn't used the bottle of purple mask. In utter shock, I confirmed this with his female colleague (who has lilac grey hair - the way I wanted it), and she agreed that I should have used the purple mask. Feeling like a fool at the store entrance, I asked Hiro - my desired colour wouldn't appear at all after sitting through 7.5 hrs of all that? Yet all I apparently needed was the purple mask? Why the hell wouldn't it be sold together with the entire session, which cost me $400+??? And why wouldn't the importance of this freaking bottle be emphasized upon payment?? Isn't it silly? I'm overall appalled by the lack of service recovery and nonchalance. He failed to understand that it's not about the lost money, it's really my entire day spent sitting there and yet my desired colour couldn't be achieved, only to be blamed for not using the purple mask. I feel silly and almost scammed. Even though I still have remaining credits, I will definitely not return to Cuttour. And please, do not put your customers through rounds of bleaching and hours of torment if you can't assure the outcome!!!

Hiro is the Best hair stylist ever. very experience, very knowledgeable, knows whats best for my hair. No other stylist like him I've met before that did so great for my hair. Good job.

Hiro is a very experienced hair stylist, he knows what's his doing & what suits best for his client. Top notch skills, & friendly. Feel like visiting an old friend, ain't other stylist as good as him. A gem hairstylist & highly recommended .

First time cutting my hair here and i was very pleasantly surprised. Staff are extremely friendly and cheerful which I appreciate. Shin was my stylist and he was very patient and meticulous. He went through the pros and cons of different hair cuts and also taught me techniques to better care for my hair. They pay full attention to every customer and try their best to ensure that you are comfortable. Their prices are also reasonable for the quality of service.
