Hair Inc - 76a Serangoon Garden Way

Really unprofessional. I called the number stated on their website under Holland Village and booked an appointment. When I arrived the next day the salon was closed and when I called them they informed me that they moved, despite still having the location stated on their website with that phone number. What a waste of time.

Ivan of Hair Inc has taken care of my haircut needs for a few years already. He's already moved to different branches of Hair Inc around Singapore over the years but my friend and I always go to him no matter the branch he's in. He's quite meticulous. I don't have the best hair but he does his best to take care of it.

I essentially wasted $518 at this salon. ($388 for the hair dye job, $98 for Olaplex treatment and $32 for purple shampoo that I no longer need). Went to get my hair dyed for my upcoming pre-wedding shoot, and wanted balayage. I showed the hair stylist a photo (from the Hair Inc Instagram page - dark brown base, ash grey brown mid tones and some blonde streaks) of what I would like, and explicitly told him that I was in the healthcare sector and hence could not have hair that was too brightly colored or outlandish. He also said that because I had to get some Olaplex treatment ($98) in view of the bleach. We can’t really get everything we want in life. Dream hair is one of those things for me. I looked like a carrot top by the end of 3.5 hours of bleaching and dying, with steaks of pink running through my hair. The hairstylist blamed it on the lighting in the studio. I blamed it on my lack of sleep (read:no sleep) the night before as I had been on night shift. Went home, took a nap and willed for my hair to look different after waking up. Woke up and no luck there; still looked the same. Went back to the salon the day after to get my hair dyed a darker colour. The original hair stylist wasn’t around. Charles helped me dye my hair to a darker, less shocking brown, and he was very nice about it. I was much happier with my hair, and for that I’m giving a 2-star rating rather than 1. But at the end of the day, the end result was probably something I could have achieved at home for $10, minus the damage wrecked by bleaching.

Lanny was really helpful in mixing together a color I loved. I came back the next week because the color was changing (my hair just doesn't take well to dyes) and he took the time to fix it for me without an appointment. Prices are reasonable and they have lots of hair products to choose from too. Thank you!

Kenneth is my favorite stylist - haircuts by him hold their shape so well and gives my limp hair LIFE! He's a damn good colorist too (just that I'm on a personal ban to my poor hair recover) ?

This is my first time ever writing a review on google. In the past even when i had bad experiences i hesitated in writing a public post as I understand the difficulties faced in the service industry. But this experience i had at Hair Inc was dreadful and i felt a morale duty to inform others who may like to consider patronising. I had my worst haircut experience till date and i am not even exaggerating. It was my first time there and I was assigned a young and inexperienced stylist who seemingly could not even properly handle the trimmer and scissors. My hair was cut very unevenly in length and volume at both sides. Was asked if i wanted to shorten my fridge and i mentioned just a little but she went to cut away at least an inch in a very uneven manner. Realising her mistake, she quickly told me it was done and went ahead to apply wax on my hair to try to cover up her mistake. I understand mistakes do happen but at least have the decency to inform and apologise to your customer instead of trying to sneak it pass. I even wonder if the person who cut my hair is a properly trained hairdresser or a random individual called upon to help out as the other hairdressers were busy. Absolutely disgusted.

Got my deal from fave yesterday and managed to book an appointment with them today! I got the hair colour + treatment and cut. David was my hairdresser today, he was super patient with me the whole time. He explained the consequences of my hair dye, possible colour outcomes before starting on my hair. He explained the options they had available for hair treatments because I asked. He gave me quick tips and advices for my hair because my hair is so tough to maintain(it was bleached & I swim quite a lot). & he tried his best to fix my previous terrible haircut. He stayed 1.5 hours past closing time. & there was no hard selling. Super thankful to have come here cause my hair feels and looks so much better right now! thank you David! ?

What can I say, my ratings and photo explains it all ! Stumbled across an ad on Facebook and I decided to take the plunge and try their services. The results were wonderful. Had the privillege to enjoy amazing services by Kenneth and his crew who really helped me out as I was really indecisive. Kenneth also provided advice, shared some of his knowledge and taught me some tips on styling my hair. I felt great during the time there and was simply ecstatic at the end. I'll definitely head back to Hair Inc next time!
