This dim sum shop is now combined with DenWengJi noodle shop. I had a hard time finding it because the shop name was changed. Ordered 4 items: 肠粉、凤爪、虾饺、咸水角。Quality-wise it is good and some items are better than some upper class restaurant except for the Phoenix claw which I think lacked 南乳taste. The shrimp dumpling is juicy and the shrimps fresh with a solid skin that didn’t disintegrate - a barometer of the chef’s skills and whether the food is re-heated. The 咸水角 had a smooth appearance and didn’t have the blisters you would normally expected but tastes-wise was on-point. The star of the show is the stuffed cheong fan - shrimp paste stuffed into a dough fritter then wrapped with cheong fan. This gives off different textures and tastes as you bite into it. It’s a pity they had to combine with the noodle shop - most likely because of the higher-than-expected price point for such venue/location. Although the venue is of a coffee shop setting, food items are priced almost similar to dim sum restaurants. On the plus side, you can now enjoy food from both restaurants. Worth a try if you are nearby and is craving dim sum but not amazing enough for me to purposely go there again.
