Poor servicing. Not professional. Poor quality. Advise people to not come over here to this salon.

It will be a lengthy review as this was not my first negative experience here. First incident was in December. I brought my 3 boys to have their haircut before school reopened. The salon was crowded and we were advised to walk around and return after 30 mins. I agreed and I told the lady that I will return in 30 minutes. After 20 minutes, we decided to wait outside the salon instead of walking around. The cashier/receptionist said "Oh, I thought you didn't want to cut anymore. So I let 2 ladies in. Yours would be after them." Mind you, there were still 2 others before the 2 ladies who were before us. Even though I felt that it was unfair, we waited patiently. Perhaps the lady genuinely thought we left. When it was our turn, 2 of my boys' hair was cut by a lady and 1 of my boy's hair was cut by a man. I quite like the haircut given by the man as it turned out nice. I then decided to come again as it was quite near my house. Maybe the bad service was due to the crowd. I was also advised to make an appointment first prior to the next visit. 2nd incident: Yesterday I called the salon to arrange for an appointment for my 3 boys. I requested for the male hairdresser to cut their hair and was told by a lady on the phone that there will be an additional $5 per boy as it will be considered Director's cut. I agreed to the price and told them that I will come just after 3pm tomorrow (today). The lady took down my name and said that she has my number on her phone. Today I reached the salon at 3pm and a lady was there. I told her we have an appointment but she told us to wait as there was another customer before us. We were again told to walk around and return after 30 mins. Nope, not going to do that as I have learnt my lesson from the last incident. I got my boys to settle down. And we waited. The lady then started to give the customer before us a haircut. I felt a little off and I asked the lady again "The man will be giving my boys a haircut right?" The lady replied dismissively "Oh the man ah? He left already. He will come back at 5 or 6pm". I had calmly highlighted that I made the appointment yesterday, had requested for the male hairdresser and even agreed to the extra charge. The lady shrugged unapologetically and continued with her work. Not wanting to make a fuss, I left the salon together with my boys. Honestly, I was very disappointed with the service. I feel that they do not respect the customers' time and preference. If I was told earlier on that the Director was not available, then I could have made other arrangements. I'm not even sure if my appointment was recorded as the lady did not check any book/records when she asked us how many people needs the haircut today, despite me telling her that we have an appointment. I called the Director at 6.30pm since I would rather give my feedback to him rather than posting it on google review. I used my pleasant voice to introduce myself and the reason for my call as I intend for the call to be a feedback, not a complaint. However, he told me to talk to the in-charge as he was in a meeting. He then thanked me and ended the call before I could say anything else. I guess that's why I'm posting this review here. Yes, he might really be in a meeting. But I felt he could have said something like "I'm sorry, I'm in a meeting. Can I call you back/ get the in-charge to call you back?" I'm a patient person by nature, especially when it comes to services as I was in that line before and I understand how everyone is trying their best. For me to post a negative review reflects how awfully disappointed I feel with the service we received I am definitely not returning.
