β β β β β DONβT ever buy a Daikin aircon. Just DONβT. My family have always used Mitsubishi without issues and when moving into my new house i wanted Mit. But my renov year, Mitsubishi thailand had labour strike and SG ran out of stock for Mit aircon. After waiting out some months i had no choice but settle for Daikin.
Now less than 4years of Daikin. Circuit board(Motherboard) spoil in 3rd year and thermosat wires all spoil in 4th year. My warranty 5 years maybe by time its over whole aircon spoil beyond repair. Service also not good, told them issues, wait 1 week for them to come and they only arrived to confirm issue without repair parts. Then wait again for them to arrive with parts. While inspection anyhow tried to whack down the metal covers at my compressor, lucky i was looking and insisted it wasnβt properly aligned to cover. Just get another brand of aircon, no Daikin.

β β β β β Looking to buy Daikin Aircon? I replaced my 10 years old Aircon for Daikin. Within 3 months all units failed. They have dont have part for replacement and call center is not answering calls. This is worst service in the world. It's a month of non working condition aircon and it is still in first year warranty! I have asked for manager calls and no response for a month. Absolutely the worst customer service and deteriorating brand

β β β β β Bought this unit in July 2020, but throughout 1 year, it gave us several issues. Now, another issue came. The unit is totally not working. It seems like this brand of aircon cannot last long. We Called the customer service to address the issue, however they donβt seem to be interested to care about it and just inform us about the charges for the defective parts. Goodness, we just bought this unit not long ago and it really gave us so many unpleasant experience. We have nothing to say just a disappointment for choosing this brand.
All I can say is, buy at your own risk.

β β β β β Daikin service center was informed of the power trip caused by compressor pcb board.
Expressed concern on fire safety.
Daikin has no response to safety concern and just asked customer to wait.
After waiting so long, what is the point of scheduling if your technician comes without parts to repair?
Another schedule for another technician to come again.
For all to consider when purchasing Daikin.

β β β β β Do you think it's reasonable to pay 25% of the whole air-con system price just a year after you purchased the unit? I bought a system and had it installed back in Nov 2019, however I only moved in in Jan 2020. Recently, the air-con condenser unit broke down. The air-con condenser unit has a warranty period of 5 years, but apparently it does not include labour. The total cost of repair for something is that supposed to be under warranty is more than $1,000. I had paid $4,000 for the whole system just last year. Upon speaking to the call centre representative, he was vehement that I had to pay the full sum. Only after reasoning with him, he offered a mere $112 discount. Considering the reputation of the company, I am rather let down by the unreliability of their product, the charges hidden in fine print, the long appointment times (yes still not fixed until now) and their customer service. Not only did the system break down after one year, they charged so much for repair even though compressor is still under warranty. Definitely will not recommend this brand.

β β β β β i have more than 10 units aircond installed in my shophouse with multiple brands, among them i found it the best cooling king unit is Daikin. So the unit in my residence house must be all Daikin. Best!

β β β β β Totally unreliable products with the worst service ever. Takes forever to get an appointment with empty promises to call back. 3 times over to fix a leaking aircon unit that works like an overpriced fan when used and still not resolved.
This is definitely not the once proud and reliable brand it used to be. Will never buy a Daikin again

β β β β β Bought & installed 2 brand new sets of System 1 on 11 September. One week later (18 September ), water started to drip profusely from one indoor fan coil unit. Called the installer back to check & he was shocked when he opened up the fan coil cover to see lots of DUST & DIRTS inside the BRAND NEW fan coil!
I paid for brand new sets yet I received dirty ones. Very disappointed with Daikin's quality control over their products before they send to customers. Am I getting an old used set? Do I have the right to request for replacement set?
Anyway, I foresee more problems to come within 1st year of purchase. This is my first & gonna be the last time I buy Daikin's product.
