Dance At The Difference

Both LJ and Julie are fantastic - they both have such a lovely nature and are great with kids as well as being fabulous dancers and teachers! When we first moved my 2 year old had struggled to feel settled but she absolutely loved the accompanied dance classes at dance at the difference and it was the one time of the week that she would happily leave my side and prance around - this is a testament to how good the teachers are! Now she is 3 years old, she attends the unaccompanied classes and again, happily walks in without a second glance back at me! As well as focusing on dance, the classes also focuses on learning, such as colours, gross motor skills and following instructions. We loved the classes so much, we got both LJ and Julie to run a session for my daughters birthday and most of the parents came away from the party asking how to enrol their kids at Dance at the Difference! Most definitely the best dance school in Singapore if you want your kids to feel comfortable and have fun, as well as learn how to dance! I’m considering looking into adult classes!

We LOVE Dance at the Difference dance school. My 3 year old absolutely adores Miss LJ and looks forward to her class every week. The dance school is very welcoming, professional, fun and a fantastic experience each and every week for my daughter. I couldn't recommend this school enough.

Dance At The Difference is seriously the best dance school in all of Singapore! My 6 year old has been dancing there since he was 3 and my 2 year old daughter just recently joined and they both absolutely love it! My daughter can't stop talking about her ballet class and my son has always been made to feel welcome, loved, and challenged in this nurturing environment. If you are looking for a respectful and loving environment where your child can find and grow their love for dance, look no further. I can't recommend this studio enough.

We have been taking our daughter to Dance at the Difference for over a year and love it. The staff is skilled and courteous. There’s always a smile when we walk in no matter how busy it gets. The dance groups are in a manageable size with 3 to 7 participants. Small enough for each student to get attention. I can highly recommend this dance studio for any toddler.

All round wonderful dance school for young kids. Fun, engaging and energetic classes with a bespoke syllabus designed for early years learning, letting your child indulge in their dance dreams and gain confidence to express themselves. The studio has a lovely atmosphere and the staff are excellent ⭐️

My daughter's been dancing with Miss LJ and the DATD team since she was able and you simply won't find a more flexible, friendly and enjoyable environment. Technique learning is partnered with fun and positivity, so she looks forward to dance class every single week and is ALWAYS excited at the prospect of class with the wonderful Miss LJ and her team. Her development both technically and personally is undeniable and I cannot recommend DATD highly enough.

I take my daughter here every Saturday and she loves it. I participate in the classes with her. We do the parent and toddler class. There is a good mix of boys and girls. She was a little timid at first (only 1.5 YO now 2) but we stuck with it and now she has a ball and knows the names of the other kids and she knows (most of) the routine. Laura-Jane is amazing with kids, friendly patient and extremely knowledgeable. All the fun activities are clearly designed to prep for dancing later on. There is a nice viewing room as well which I've sat in while Grandma took over 1 week. I've seen that they do birthday party packages like a dance party for the kids as well but I've not done that yet. Highly recommended!

Our daughter has been at DATD for nearly three years - she has grown so much in confidence and skill! We absolutely love Miss LJ and her team, they understand how to get the absolute best out of young kids and do it in the most fun, engaging and exiting way! LOVE this place, its an outstanding dance school!! Couldn't recommend if more highly!
