★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I did Brazilian and underarm waxing! It was good! The waxed area feels smooth like baby skin. It was my first time doing Brazilian but I can’t Tahan the pain but I will def come back for armpit waxing!!! The staff, palwinder was really very nice and accommodating. Would definitely go back to Darshini’s parlour ?

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Been going to this place for a couple of years for eyebrow threading. Depends on whom you get, the result varies a bit. But, usually, it’s quite acceptable, and the price is okay. Even though, most of the clients are women, I don’t feel “out of place”, as often I’m the only guy in there. However, I don’t understand why men are charged more than women for eyebrow threading.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Went in for full face threading and hot oil hair massage. Staff were friendly which is the only
plus point. The hair massage was proof that they have not been trained in head massages and the threading was horrendous - she started threading literally my head hair line and I had to tell her to stop, also was threading areas where I have no hair on my face; was obvious they didn’t know what they were doing or how to judge where to thread. Very rough in the way they do things too in services which should be done gently. Wouldn’t recommend at all for hair removal.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Even threading I will cry and ask to stop and I take 20 mins just to thread. Which Gaya akka will still patiently thread my brows . I was very scared and nervous cause this was my first time trying Brazilian waxing and I’ve heard it’s painful. When I was there she ensured me that it’s gonna be fine and distracted me. I kept waiting for the pain but nothing… I didn’t even flinch or move or stop her. She was being so careful and it didn’t hurt at all ! The best waxing experience I ever had cause it was painless (:

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I have been going to Ang Mo Kio branch for more than a year. The service by a beautician named Gayathri is excellent. She always does a clean and perfect job. She is very obliging, pleasant and hard working. I would strongly recommend to go to Ang Mo Kio Dharshini for eye brow threading too.
Greatly appreciated for your incredible job Gayathri.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ $8 for brow threading. $10 for waxing+threading sideburns. Sumathi was pleasant. She checked with her colleague on how to thread my brows according to my preference. After threading/waxing one side, she’ll ask me to check before proceeding with the other side. My only wish is that she trimmed the hair before waxing. She also spilled a bit of wax on me. Otherwise, this place has good value-for-money, and nice staff. ? Keep in mind that the staff will thread with the thread in their mouth ie mask off. 24 hours after, i noticed red spots underneath my brows, and red spots where the wax was.
