DC Carpentry

Initial meeting with Peter is ok but after that no sounds no pictures from him. Whatsapp and calls not answered. If too busy to quote just inform as there are many IDs and renovation contractors out there!

Oh my gosh! If you get referred to Canny(which I learnt she left the company already !) DO NOT USE this ID!!!!!! Irresponsible to the max, ultimate ID from hell sort ! The carpentry work is sadly also poor ! Sorry to say, the worker are not well train, no motivation, doesn’t use logical thinking ... you will end up not sleeping thinking about what else they are gonna get it so wrong tomorrow (if they show up! They go missing for weeks showed up do half day work then gone missing for couple of days again. Canny, the ID goes missing and don’t reply you, can’t tell you what is going to be up next over the week etc etc .... Please don’t suffer what I have suffered with DC Carpentry! Presentation good but after you paid, your life is in their hands !

Avoid at all cost, they are scammers and promise you the sky but deliver your hell. I am taking them to CASE and pursuing legal action to indemnify my losses.

They will promise everything and anything is not a problem. Once deposit is paid, you became a problem to them and they have no business integrity. I have lodged a complain with CASE.

NIGHTMARE CON- TRACTOR! Did a quick con job - as mentioned by all who posted here , initial stages were great. Was attentive and everything " Can" attitude. Once I paid him 95% Of deposit , he was uncontactable! Send his poorly skilled worker just to " show" face and stall so that we cannot complain he didnt do any work. My renovation was supposed to be completed in 2 mths but he didn't pay his supplier for my glass window, doors and laminated floor -- so all work was delayed. He had to pay my glass contractor but didn't show up on the day of payment. Delay ! Flooring supplier came and said Jo of DC said I was unhappy with the laminate flooring they did so i didnt pay DC Which was a lie . I had in actual fact already paid my 95%payment upfront. They demanded for money or else they would strip my flooring . I had to go and make a police report . I'm not here to slander anyone- everyone needs to make a living . But what of those who has been cheated? .My heart goes out to those who worked so hard ,saved money for a renovation and looking forward to their new home but instead end up mired in a NIGHTMARE Renovation !!

If you want a reliable contractor, who is responsive and knows what he is doing, then avoid this company at all costs. Unresponsive during the renovation period, delays in everything and only prompt in chasing payment. Poor after sales service and will ignore you after house is handed over. And if u do decide to use this company due to price, do note that extra cash will probably go towards legal expenses. They have affiliates under the name of de chevron.

I m satisfied with the work done by DC Capentry.The price is cheaper than some other company that I've checked.The boss(Mr Peter)and his staff are professional and friendly..I sincerely recommend this company for anyone who plan to renovate their house..

The overall experience was great. I engaged Peter in early May and he got things done for me pretty fast. I highly recommend anyone looking for carpentry work to engage their services.
