★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Classic good old dessert. She's only open for few days a week though . There's always a queue till she's sold out when I was there.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Ahhhhh!!!! She's gruff, but her stuff is Good!! Especially like her green bean, but that's usually the first to sell out! I put the Red bean, barley and Cheng Terng close seconds. ? Oh, and if the pot's empty, don't be asinine and ask her if there is any more... ? PS: Can ask for less sugar or no sugar!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Amazing! $1 per bowl only and it’s with such rich ingredients and favour.
Food served in the traditional poetry bowl. All as if transported back to 70s.
Green bean soup is smooth, silky with soft beans and a tiny of coconut favour
Qing Tang is light, refreshing, with the right mix of ingredients, at a slightly warm temperature that make you so comfortable after being in the burning sun.
Can’t be more thankful to find this shop in the hidden neighbourhood.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I first discovered this dessert stall, one of the best, at the Commonwealth Crescent Market and Food Centre over 10 yrs ago while working nearby. Then it was already a very popular stall, so Aunty must hv been doing this for far longer.
Every time I’m nearby, if I hv the time, I’d stop to have a green beans soup or red beans soup or usually both, like today. At only $1 per bowl, it’s really cheap.
Aunty still looks as tough as she used to. Life as a hawker is hard work. She should increase her price to $1.20 or $1.50 a bowl.
The signboard is in Chinese which I’m told roughly translated means Happy Pavillion. You’ll definitely be happy with the dessert here.
