DHL quoted SGD28 base on contents n weight of my package from SG to Johor. The contents were 2 cards + 3 keys. Total weight 135g. I was not inform of any further tariffs or additional charges. Six days later DHL called that I need to pay additional RM90.60 tariffs to Msia customs. Package already in Johor. Why this tariff not included in the SGD28? DHL insisted its custom tariff or my package be returned with cost. I did bank transfer of  RM90.60 immediately on same day. Two days later, package still have not arrived n I called DHL, they told me that they just cleared my bank payment, n package still at Msia customs ! One day later, DHL called that I need to pay additional RM26.45 for bonded storage at custom. I already paid RM90.60 to DHL immediately after I received their call, n it's their fault for processing late payment to customs to clear the package. So they waived the RM26.45 This is a nightmare. From SG to Johor, package contents - 2 cards + 3 keys. Delivery took 9 days n cost SGD28.00 + RM90.60 + RM26.45 (waived). Why DHL did not call / inform me of additional charges before shipping started? I would have cancelled my shipment. DHL's reason that I'm not their regular customer n can't be contacted. Then how did they contact/ call me to pay additional charges? DHL ransom the customers with hidden tariffs, either pay the additional tariffs for package will be delivered , or have it returned at additional cost. A sloppy SOP from a branded courier company. Just beware of their hidden tariffs tactic. Will never use DHL ever again!
