★ ★ ★ ★ ★ To a casual public visitor, there is no public transport (the nearest bus stop is 5km away) and there is nothing much to see. The east side of Tuas South Boulevard is a sand pile, while the west side is occupied by a Sembcorp Marine shipyard, with huge hangers and colourful buildings (not open to the public). The southern end of Tuas South Boulevard is undergoing land reclamation and there are lots of lorries carrying sand and building materials (and kicking up a cloud of dust behind them). Tuas South is a good place to run between sunset and sunrise when traffic is low. The pavements are wide and flat.
