Tuas Mega Port - Tuas S Blvd

Big, super big port area n facilities planned. Still works in progress....

Jan 24, 2021. After rain last evening, the morning became cooler. I decided to set off earlier, just after 6am, to clock my 3rd half marathon in Jan. As usual, I took on International Rd, then Benoi, then Gul Circle. The sun rise has turned the sky into golden blanket. This was a nice reward for being early. I proceed to Tuas Crescent, then Tuas South Ave 5 and finally Tuas Blvd. Spotted a stray dog but we maintained a safe distancing, no unpleasant incident occurred. I kept on jogging. There were less heavy vehicles on Sunday. So the run was quite comfortable. Nevertheless, need to pay attention to vehicles coming from the back. There were several groups of cyclists and big bikers, all of which were moving in the same direction - same goal. I was the only one jogging along. Continue to hydrate and consume a packet of Koda energy gel at the last km. This gives me an extra boost I needed to finish the last km before i passed by the Tuas Lamp Post 1 where countless stickers have been pasted on it. The cyclists and bikers were busy with their phone photo. I did the same. The moments worth capturing. Beyond this point, I can see Tuas Mega Port is under construction. It will be our future port which we plan to ensure our top ranking transhipment port status remain intact. On my return journey, I walked 5km to the 1st bus stop (opp Shell gas station) to catch bus 248. To rehydrate, I stopped over at KJM food court to grab a can of 100 Plus and a bottle of mineral water. Quite an achievement to run 3 half marathons already in Jan. The Mizuno Wave Rider 22 proven again its quality.
