โ โ โ โ โ Standard Xiao long BAO, and fried rice with pork chop, seems flavor not as intense as before, perhaps is different store and cooks.

โ โ โ โ โ Service is terrible today when I went for lunch Very short of staffs. Asked why it took so long for the order the waitress answered it was due to busy business yesterday and they got to remake fresh food today? What an explanation!

โ โ โ โ โ Super slow service, close to 30 minutes wait for a plain noodles ?
Ordered at 742pm, by 810pm some food were still not served. Understand fried rice will take some time, but plain noodles ??
Do they make the noodles from scratch?

โ โ โ โ โ This particular Din Tai Fung at City Square Mall is one of my favorites as the mall itself is not too packed like NEX for example. The area is spacious enough and wait time isn't very long. The longest I have waited during meal hours is probably only 10 - 15 minutes. You get to enjoy your food with minimal noise/crowd disturbance and also maximum attention from the staff.
The craftmanship of the legendary Xiao Long Bao is just sensational. They look perfect and taste heavenly - with the right balance of soup, skin texture, and also the meat filling. The skin thick enough to hold everything together and thin enough to give you a glimpse of the soup that lies inside. Of course, consume it immediately upon arrival when it is hot to get the full experience! How I would usually eat this is to bite it open (small opening) and pour the soup onto my spoon before drinking it and dipping the rest of the dumpling into some light vinegar. Their fried rice needs no introduction as well. Super fragrant and irresistible after the first mouthful. The prawn paste taste was right on point as well, not overly salty or oily like some zi char stalls out there. Lovely crispy bits stuck to the wings which adds to the flavour. Pretty juicy too.
Conveniently located at CitySquare Mall right above Farrer Park MRT station on the Purple MRT line. Super accessible and not very crowded at all.

โ โ โ โ โ The food quality and service was great. Queue was as usual long (30min). The only downside was the ordering process was a big hassle.
Scanned menu didnโt load properly on IOS, only works on Android. Even after ordering on the phone, the service staff still needs to come to scan a QR code to submit order.
That was a Real pain.

โ โ โ โ โ Good food and so was the service ?. Food was served pretty quickly ?. Good ambience. We were quickly ushered to our seats. Upon ordering our food, we did not have to wait too long for food to be served.
Bottled beer is a tad expensive.
During peak hours you will have to wait to get a seat but otherwise the outlet is spacious.
They have an interesting chilly paste (featured). The Xiaolongbao was good and served steaming hot.
Noodles had great texture and serving size was decent (not too big).
A good place for dining, I hardly had any complaints and definitely worth a repeat visit. ?
Since my pictures are not comprehensive, I have also included menu pictures of the restaurant from the QR code they provided.
