Ordered delivery for my family dinner. Quite disappointing. Everything was very starchy - too much use of corn starch. The spinach dish was 20% veg and 80% corn starch. The imperial chicken was supposedly in superior broth but turned out very starchy again. Pork belly was very thick, meat very tough and again doused in overly starchy and salty sauce. The worst was the black pepper dish - too much black pepper. We couldnโ€™t finish the dish. There were some good dishes. The egg white and broccoli was good and the passionfruit prawn.

Had a nice time at Wok Master. Both the food and the service were great. The hotpot chicken curry was delicious.

After a long while, we decided to give Wok Master at City Square Mall, a try last night. Our previous experience there, were mainly affected by the slow and bad services, otherwise the food was so-so. This time round, all our dishes and drinks arrived quickly, most importantly, the tastes were not sacrificed. The Mongolian chicken was super crispy, especially delicious if u dip in the special sauce. The prawns covered in fruity sauce were refreshing sweet and the meat is crunchy. The highlight is the golden toufu; this dish was first to be emptied. Soft on the inside, slightly crunchy on the outside; the toufu was splashed with delicious favoured golden sauce. To top it off, the tall elderly waiter who served us, was attentive to our needs and recommended good offers without being too pushy. At the end, the cashier was a bit impatient and stressed, otherwise, this was a great comeback by Wok Master for this branch.

The taste of their dishes are so nice, especiallyย I was blown away with theirGolden Tofu with Crab Meat. The service was a bit slow that day, maybe due to the shortage of the staff, but the attitude of all the staff were friendly and prompt. Only one regret is that they have limited dishes for one person's meal. It's a strong recommendation to go with other people and share.Hope they have some set lunch or some to enjoy for one person to enjoy their delicious dishes more easily. โ€”โ€”โ€”โ€”โ€”โ€”โ€”โ€”โ€”โ€”โ€”โ€” 2nd visit. The sauce of tofu was not thick comparing the last time. A bit disappointed. Salted egg prawn ball was really tasty with big plump shrimps. Really recommendable. As for wasabi sauce, not so motivating, just ok for me. Their braised pork belly was good also. I like deep-fried buns. A little pricey in all, but worth it for me. Noted not crowded at all on weekend dinner. Food was served really quickly and it was cozy dinner for me.

Wok Master ?180 Kitchener Rd, #02 - 51/52, City Square Mall Value for money set meal for two from @wokmastersg at $38++ with Jindu ribs, Mongolian chicken and Dual style Kai Lan. Jindu ribs was impressive, flavourful and cooked till it was soft and the meat simply separated itself from the bones effortlessly. The pineapple slice on top gave a good citrus taste which balanced off the overall taste nicely. Special mention to the Mongolian chicken which was well marinated and deepfried to a good crisp. It was paired well with their special sauce which was savoury and slightly spicy. Great meal ?

My family had the following dishes for lunch yesterday: 1. Crayfish tang hoon - soup was very flavourful but only one small crayfish for S serving 2. Homemade tofu with crab meat was forgettable and expensive 3. Yam basket was good - good amount of succulent big prawns 4. Pint Nut 'Squirrel' fish was a bit of a let down. While the sea bass was very well fried, the pint nuts were rancid and the sauce was bland. Fish was rather small. A month ago, my husband and I had better experience at Wok Master. We had their Premium Claypot (only good for 2 pax as all the key ingredients come in pairs) and the Curry Fish Head. We thought the food was good enough to bring my mum to try other dishes on the menu.

Visited on 25th Feb 2022. Thinking of using The Entertainer promotion on 1 for 1 Main menu item but ending up ordering their in house promotion instead. 3 dishes for the price of $38++. As I love cooking. Normally when we eat out, we will ordered those that I don't cooked at home. The Mongolian chicken is crispy, especially delicious with the special sauce. The claypot Tofu is served HOT and filled with a lot of tiny small bites of ingredients. However, I don't like the rib as the sauce taste funny n too salty. Service is good as they serve fast and the tall elderly Uncle was attentive to our needs and recommended good offers without being pushy. He also asked whether do we need the wet tissues when he bring us the utensils. Although he is not very well verse on the Entertainer app promotion, he quickly get his senior to come and explain to us. As we are Sitting near the entrance, I notice they greeted the customers and welcome them in. Will definitely come back to try other different dish.

I am so happy that the Wok Master is still operating after 2 years of tough and rough times. Happy to see most of the elderly uncles are still working diligently in the restaurant. Happy to know they have changed the menu and add in many new dishes, including dim sum. You must try the dim sum, taste good. Our family always enjoy the food in Wok Master.??????
