β β β β β During peak hours the queue to be seated is quite long (~30-45 min) but the quality of the food makes up for it. For the amount of time I've been eating here, the quality has remained consistent over the years in all locations, and the fried rice is something to die for.

β β β β β Wonderful restaurant with really good food. The fried rice with pork is a must order. The dumplings too.
Across Singapore and even in Jakarta, I find the high quality of their dishes very consistent.
Unfortunately no advance booking allowed. Must queue outside the restaurant. I queued half hour for this meal. Worth it.

β β β β β Din Tai Fung is one of the most consistent restaurants, the Xiao Long Bao wrappers are thin and donβt break easily like others and the filling is nice and juicy. The fried rice with shrimp or pork chop and beef noodle soup are also some of my favourites. Overall a good place to have lunch or dinner at.

Unfortunately, again, no beef noodle soup! We missed it! Everything else is per usual. Pleasant service and did their job to let us know our queue was up.

β β β β β We come here fairly frequently. Itβs a large outlet and we rarely have to wait to get seated. Service is also prompt. They have a new hybrid QR code ordering system where you order on your phone, then the staff come back and scan the QR code your phone generates to tag the order to your table and submit it. Payment is at the register as usual. I still prefer not doing online orders but I think the intent is to combine take-out and dine-in orders into a single system. Today we had a cold vinegared vegetable salad, our usual prawn cutlet, some beef noodles, and some shrimp and pork dumplings, with a pot of puer tea to drink. Everything was good. We also really liked these dumplings over the usual xiaolongbao weβd normally get. This is a place where itβs definitely worth trying a wider range of dishes than you might usually order. There are a lot of goodies on the menu. Highly recommended.

β β β β β When I came around 4 pm β¦..
I saw that there were four or five empty tables. Waited at the door for 10 minutes and they didn't call anyone in to maintain an empty table. Why do you ask the guests to wait outside the door? Appears to be understaffed. Another person has to help the guests order food, pour tea and checkout and run around, obviously there is a serious shortage of staff.

β β β β β Note this DTF outlet is located at Office Tower side of Great World City mall.
Had a pretty enjoyable dinner here at peak hour.
In comparison to outlets all over Singapore as well the original DTF in Taipei, some highlights we found:
GOOD: yummy pork chop fried rice, extra tasty and well executed. Stir fried dou miao was really tasty too & custard bun ζ΅ζ²ε
was surprisingly good.
As expected, XLB & others are similar to other SG outlets.
Service was attentive with our tea constantly refilled with hot water.
Q System:
We had a v short wait with the QR code scan Q system. Will only seat you when all parties arrive so we use the wait time to do some order online. Once our table ready, just get your order scanned and off it went.
Tip: you can save the code & scan to Q while on the way if you live close by.
Overall seamless and efficient. Plus always some credit card promo, so look out and ask service staff.
