โ โ โ โ โ Pleasant experience. Went for the dinner omakase at $230++ per pax. Pics are all about that. Staff and Japanese chefs were awesome. Start to finish very attentive and welcoming. Food was good. Chef took time to explain what was served and displayed the main sources. Ingredients were premium and worth the buck. Even simpler dishes like mackerel sushi somehow taste much better than regular restaurant's. Some of the dessert fruits are Japanese, like the Japanese melon which has a unique sweet floral aftertaste.
Overall, 10-station travel.

โ โ โ โ โ We came here for lunch previously and were happy with the freshness of the food. However we visited for the first time again after the circuit breaker and were appalled at how much the quality had dropped. I understand about having to pay for quality but the current standard of food does not warrant for anything close to the current prices - absolutely disappointing.
In addition to those pictured, we had the sharing platter of tempura which was just poor.
Service of staff was bad as well - they were not at all attentive and unfortunately didnโt seem to be familiar with the menu.
A pity because it is a decent place to dine with friends, family or guests but we will not be back anymore.

โ โ โ โ โ Lovely ambience in this restaurant. Quiet, cosy, not too bright, decor and the layout of the place makes you feel very cosy while seated at the table. Came here on a weekend for lunch (we made a reservation just in case) and it was great! Sushi is yummy too, their lunch sets are delicious!

โ โ โ โ โ One of my favourite Japanese restaurants which serves fresh Japanese produce at reasonable prices. Service is always excellent. The restaurant takes social distancing very seriously and I have seen staff reminding customers to put on their masks when not eating or drinking. Reservations are recommended, as the restaurant is always fully booked.

โ โ โ โ โ Not sure if the food and quality were worth the price paid for the set meal (about 80ish dollars per set). I ordered 2 sets
The chirashi egg came burst ? and it was so disappointing because Iโd really like to be the one who burst the onsen egg myself.
The appetiser was some veg and mushroom , suspected itโs locally sourced produce. Then dessert was red bean mochi and sorbet accompanied by some cut fruits (rock melon, dragon fruit , orange ) also not Japanese :) sashimi dish was very ordinary, nothing special - just salmon , cheap tuna cut and shrimps..
For the price paid, really expected abit more. Felt pricey and not worth it.
Still quite disappointed with the egg on the chirashi , wondering if itโs supposed to be like that or was it an onsen egg. Itโs supposed to be onsen egg, right? ?
