Used to be so much more flavorful. Has apparently devolved into another "franchise".

One of the better ba Chor Mee in bishan/Thomson area. This stall is open 24hours so there is literally no queue in the early morning. The soup here was really sweet and flavourful. There were also a lot of ingredients in their signature noodle soup. The noodle could be more Al dente which I usually like it to be.

While the store is generous with its ingredients, the flavour of the soup falls short. - noodles ordered was slightly soggy from being drenched with all the sauces -the soup taste profile is lacking depth, however there is no lack of salt and you would feel thirsty after drinking it. -overall, unfortunately I might not make a revisit.

Ordered the fish maw mee Kia and the signature mee Kia. Noodles were ok, a little lacking in sauce which made it quite dry and the chili they added was only mild spicy. Soup-wise the signature noodle was great. Flavourful with umaminess from the dried sole fish(?). Really good but a little on the salty side. The soup for the fish maw was slightly more blend. Tasted like a slightly diluted version of the signature noodle soup with the additional taste of fish maw. Fish maw was ok. Doesn't really soak up the soup flavour. Both soup were filled with loads of ingredients which justifies the price. Overall love the soup but the noodles not so much.

Same owner for the 2 stalls, one selling prawn noodles and the other minced pork mushroom noodles. Normal noodles. Noodles over cooked, a bit mushy. Broth has. It reach the standards. Only salty, sweet and lots of msg. The ribs are tender and the prawns are fresh.

What happened?! Been eating and recommending friends here for many a years, and everyone loves their robust flavourful porky soup stock. First time out here after heighten alert, I was very surprised how far south standard of the fare here has dropped. Easy to spot the odd one out from my up loaded pictures. Most unfortunate.

Actually the fish maw noodle is not bad. It’s $8.30 but it does comes with a lot of ingredient that I almost couldn’t finish as a small eater. I like the soup. Very flavourful. However the noodle was too oily and overcooked. I think more worth it to ordered the non fish maw ones. I don’t mind eating again if I’m in the area again. 2nd visit ordered the teochew dumpling noodle soup. Noodles are nicely cook n I find it better than dry one. Find the teochew dumpling so so only. So I think order others better. But still nice

Ordered the $8.50 fish maw Bak Chor Mee. Very generous with the ingredients. I like the taste of wolf berry seeds in the soup. The noodles were done just right but the chilli sauce was not spicy enough and a tad too sweet for me. All in, a bowl of Bak Chor Mee worth trying.
