I am very blessed to have met Dr Tang in my radiotherapy journey. He is a wonderful, caring, competent and kind doctor. He is always reassuring and makes me feel very safe and positive. I am very thankful to have Dr Johann Tang overseeing my recovery. He is very thorough with his explanations and made sure to assure any worries I may have had over the 20 days treatment. He was very friendly throughout and checked on my condition meticulously to ensure that my recovery is going well. The Farrer Park Hospital staff are also very friendly and efficient with their work, which streamlined the radiotherapy process and made the experience very comfortable.

Guess what most patients need will be patience, understanding and detailed explanation from a doctor. Dr. Johann Tang is one who have all 3 and yes, my wife has been cleared of S3 cancer cells and is en route to recovery. A million thanks is still not enough to show how grateful me and my wife are, especially me, to have my beloved saved from a life threatening illness. Strongly recommend Dr Johann Tang if you require a good & experienced Radiation Oncologist that will accompany you to walk through the treatment till recovery.

Dr Tang has been my radiation oncologist since March 2022, treating me for early stage breast cancer (following chemotherapy and surgery with other doctors). I completed 20 sessions of radiotherapy under Dr Tang's guidance (15 whole breast radiation and 5 boosters to the tumor bed) over the course of about 5 weeks (including the introduction appointment and the CT mapping session preceding radiotherapy). One month on from completing treatment, I’m happy to say that radiotherapy with Dr Tang was easy, painless and smooth. The radiated portion of my skin did not experience any issues through treatment or in the time following. I listened to Dr Tang's instructions with regards to aftercare (using Strata XRT cream three - four times a day), and there is genuinely no visible difference between my radiated breast and the other one after treatment. Dr Tang’s office is well organized and prioritizes efficient communication. Upon starting treatment, Dr Tang forms a WhatsApp group with the patient, the caregivers and his admin staff, which is a fantastic approach for everybody to always be in the loop about medical and logistical issues concerning treatment. Dr Tang's admin staff (Ms Jasmine) is efficient and pleasant. She takes care of all issues in a professional manner, including scheduling appointments and dealing with insurance, so that the patient can just focus on getting better. This is so important when dealing with cancer treatment, which is already tough enough on the patient and their family. Dr Tang also takes into consideration the patient's plans and does everything in his power to accommodate. In my case I had travel plans coming up, and Dr Tang was amazing in making sure my 4 weeks of radiotherapy finished just in time for me to travel. Throughout my travels he remained available on WhatsApp in case I needed consultation. He is also caring and diligent. Dr Tang checked in on me several times a week to make sure my skin was tolerating the treatment, but also to make sure all my questions were being answered and that I felt calm and confident. I would highly recommend Dr Tang and his office for radiotherapy. I'm very happy with the results. I wish every breast cancer patient could have such a good radiotherapy experience!

Dr Johann Tang is a very experienced radiation oncologist and I am thankful that I was referred to him after my surgery.
