★ ★ ★ ★ ★ EK replaced an earlier restaurant here. The new team is trying their best but wait times at peak hours in weekends is more than 1 hour. The food quality has not been as good as before with the former owners. Not as tasty. Quality not great. Hence there are loads to improve but the receptionist and service folks are kind and good mannered and try their best despite stress. They take phone orders. Great service which helps to make up for food quality.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Pretty nice cosy place nestled in the quiet private estate. Airy and cooling even though it’s very hot outside.Food is nice and staff are pretty friendly. But food price is a little pricey though. Problem is a lack of parking, so have to search around alittle. Good place to visit if u want to chill out over some food and beer with friends.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Recently, I am regular customer of this shop not because of anything special but just to have a nice Asahi tap beer and some snacks. This place is at quiet neighbourhood with less crowd and thus good place to chill alone or with a few friends.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ $6.50 for this shit…there was 0 customer yet the chef can’t even cook a good dish?? Total waiting time from order to serve was 3mins, so just imagine how hurry this dish was cooked. I was so hungry but still unable to swallow it!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Eng Kong Terrace - EK Gourmet, a day-to-night Kopitiam serving classic Singaporean breakfasts and hearty Zi Char dishes. Furnished with a bar and upholstered bar chairs for family dinners and casual drinks. Both service and food are generally delicious, service is relaxed and affordable. The coffee and tea are amazing. Overall the Zi char is comforting and old-fashioned home-cooking.
