Usual stall at 401 Hougang was sold out so Googled & saw the high ratings for this stall. Love how the sauce was of a nice consistency, tartness from the lemon juice & great balance of peanuts. Mmmm... Please don't fight with me for Rojak :P

I have been a regular customer of Elaine's Happy Rojak. The oven baked you tiao and dao pok provided crisp and taste of fried bread and soya when added to the Rojak mixture. The mix of home made chilli paste, lime slices, Rojak sauce, sugar, peanut and lime or lemon juice was combined with freshly cut fruits and crispy you tiao and dao pok. Today, I had a short chat with Ms Elaine while she was preparing my order for takeaway. I would like to wish her good health and continuing abundance in 2021. That she finds time to rest and play. My wife had a rojak craving. Looked online... and found this one open till 11p. With much higher reviews than competing stores. And you know what? I'm not surprised. Well deserved. I'm French so this is really not my type of taste, yet it's superbly done. Beautiful. I enjoyed it very much. So fresh. Crispy. Etc... My only 2 year old son loves it too. See pictures. Elaine runs this very small store, right at the corner of this hawker center. Works very hard to provide local delight - please feel free to show her some support too all the more since the value for money seems hard to beat. $3.50 for one packet seen in the picture. Can't go wrong. I don't like too spicy, i do not want sugar, etc etc... she was so kind as to customize my rojak to my taste. It's very well done. Very fresh. Very balanced. Very satisfying. Congratulations elaine!

The stall owner has a serious attitude problem. Very ironic that the stall name is Elaine's HAPPY rojak. I ordered a $4 portion, and when I received the rojak and gave her $4, she said it's $5. I said I ordered $4, then she said "I heard $5, so I made $5. Give me $1." She demanded a dollar from me! Si kuai doesn't sound like wu kuai, okay?! I'm there to eat and be happy, not be offended... It's not even nice. The youtiao was too dry and difficult to chew on.

One of my favorite go-to rojak - consistant harmonious blend of ingredients. As I am often in this area, I will crave it & have it at least once a month! ?

Very nice rojak which I frequent. Love the thick rojak sauce and crispy youtiao. Usually will opt for large portion and add youtiao. Waiting time might be a little long due to prep time, but its worth the wait.
