Ying Yi Kway Chap Braised Duck - 527 Ang Mo Kio Ave 10

Was curious about the long Q when passed by, so decided to try the food. The Q was long and took 15mins for the Q and I ask the uncle infront what was nice and he said both duck rice and kway chap is good. So go ahead with his advise and try... 20 mins to get food since started queueing, surprisingly the stall owner ask patron to sit and they will serve us! Rare for a hawker centre. The duck rice was nice but the duck meat was a little hard and dry... hope they can improve on this. Kway Chap was good! The stall owners were lucky that their 3 pretty daughters were helping out at the stalls!

Awesome tasting Kway Chap! Mildly salted yet flavorful. There is some magic in their kway, soft and silky almost like tofu with toasted garlic tossed over it. The pork ingredients are cleaned thoroughly and cooked to perfection.

This kway chap is perfect!!! I love that it is less salty compared to the average kway chap, but even so, the ingredients are flavoured so well! You may find the “soup” slightly bland, but it really is okay when you eat it with the ingredients. I ordered a single portion at $3.80, and I thought that they were pretty generous with their ingredients. 4 slices of egg is unseen at other places LOL. The queue was long when I visited, but it also moved very quickly. Can tell that the owners have already put together a super efficient system, and everyone is working like clockwork. Will definitely be back ???

Nice plate of kuay chup- the kuay is super soft and light with flavourful sauce. Other ingredients are all good with no porky innard taste. Could do with more innards!

Always my first choice when it comes to Kwaychap. It meets my every definition of a perfect Kwaychap. The meats are tender, soup is not too salty but still flavorful. And the owners are friendly.

A general Kway Chap Stall seems to be a crowd-pleaser. With a history of more than 20 years and popular in its vicinity. The stall was manned by a pretty bespectacled lady who had taken over her dad's role. The innards were well handled with no additional funny taste. The chilli that accompanied the food was good enough. The braised did not have an overpowering taste and was not salty. Everything was of a well-balanced taste and that includes the soup in the bowl of kway. The meal was simple and comforting for a breakfast. When it comes to local braised stalls like this, I can't help but have a taste of their duck meat. It is tender coated with some sweet thick sauce. Overall, I find that food tastes decent but I'm the one who prefers soup to be more of herb taste and sauce to be more on the savoury side. I love that the food handling especially the intestines is well managed.

1st time trying thos after so many attempts on weekend with long Q. It is dirt cheap @ $4/- simple kway chap set meal for 1 person. Thw dish is so so. The egg is a bit stiff. The kway is the one that is soft & tender, which is probably the selling point. If needs a simple kway chap, can considwr this staill when you are around thia area.

Before details on food, personally wanna praise thier service. Today the hawker centre was packed. As I'm unable to find a seat, the stall lady asked her daughter to help me find a place to seat and even assisted to clear the table (someone never clear the table and plates not from their stall). Now that's good service. Dish was later served to table. Kway Chap taste aspect was nicely braised and not overly salty. Kway was smooth with fragrance from garlic oil. Chilli packs with finely diced garlic to add a garlicky aroma. With the extra mile service to help me locate and clear a seat, plus the decent Kway Chap, 5 stars!
