★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Enjoyed brunch there after a long walk at the Botanical Gardens. Wanted to try my luck after seeing great reviews on its food. Went there around a little past 11 and we managed to get a seat for 2 immediately at the counter. Ordered “The Breakfast Works” and it didn’t disappoint! Love the sourdough and the thick cut bacon ? Truffle fries was excellent as well.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Got the brûlée French toast because I’ve heard nothing but good stuff about this dish! Pleased to say that it is a #wouldIeatitagain YES!
The brûlée provided a good contrast to the gooey custard centre without being too sweet and too soggy. Right balance between the brûlée, bread and custard. Fruits were yummy too. Though the chantilly cream… good to have but not fussed about it if it wasn’t there.
Flat white was good too! Strong and not acidic at all. Very enjoyable.
Friend had the Angus Flat Iron bowl and commented the beef was a bit gamey — but my 5 stars is for the toast anyway.

Friendly staff and great coffee. We sat inside at the bar - my chair was wobbly and the floor didn’t seem super clean. The beet and egg ($17) was just ok. The hummus was nice but the falafel and everything else was just average - and should have been served with a slice of bread. We didn’t like the bangers and Tom ($9). I would come back for their coffee, but not their food which seems overpriced.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We are here for the signature and great looking burleee french toast. We miss hatched so much. This one is Great. I ordered the wagyu beef redang. Very generous portions and tender meat. Very fragrant rice too. Makes you forget about adam nasi. Hahaha.
Oh ,the flat white is great
We were seated at the counter bar, over looking the preparation area.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Had breakfast at the eatery on a Sunday morning. Fairly busy, but food is great, place is great, coffee is delicious. Ordered the Breakfast Works vet 2.0 (big breakfast servings) and the beacon is thick and chewy, the bread is nicely toasted, with tasty tomatoes and potatoes at the side. Come early because parking at Serene Centre is limited. Be prepared to park further and walk a bit.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Cool place to have brunch. Food wise nothing special and the thick tough bacon spoils the overall feel, however I love that they actually gave kale as the veg and I love how they did the tomatoes. Give additional 1 star for the nice friendly staff and ambiance.

The vibe isn’t so special but the taste of all dishes are crazy. You can meet one of the best french toasts here. The coffee is good as well!
