The scones were giants - we had both sweet -cranberry and savoury - cheese ones super tender and light. They definitely were not hockey pucks? Bought a slice of lemon yogurt and banana walnut cake for tea time too.

Went down around 2pm on a weekday, and most of the loaf breads were sold out. A pity that I couldn’t lay my hands on the bread that I wanted, but nonetheless, there were many other pastry varieties! The staffs were friendly and prompt! Ordered the Ricotta Tartine ($14) and ice latte ($6). Ngl, I was quite surprised with the portion… But its probably just me bcos I usually eat bigger portions. However, it tastes superb and the coffee was also great. This was my second visit and I will definitely come by again!

Excellent sourdough! Seats are limited but people tend not to stay too long so if you’re ok to wait, seats generally open up. There’s also another node inside serene centre with extra aircon seating but seats there are pretty limited too

Nice small bakery in the area. Food wise really quite delicious (would return for it). The coffee is really VERY SOUR come to think of it, I should have refunded it on my first sip. Service is rather slow by the cashier lady who’s taking the order. Had to repeat my order several times for her to be captured so I was quite irritated and FYI their greed to charge for butter $1 for a very tiny slab to go with your bread (those you find in your kaya butter toast so kinda pathetic)

Love this place - toasts/plates are always on point, especially love their ricotta toast (both the usual and seasonal), kimchi grilled cheese on weekends and mocha. We are regulars. Have been back again and again to both branches. We do prefer this branch, as the drinks seem to come in a slightly bigger serving and toasts are more consistent esp portion-wise. Only things to improve on would be a) queue management for this branch, b) service can be patchy. Food though, we love! Edit: we visited again today (4 Dec) and Helen was managing the queue. We were thoroughly impressed by her service. Not only was she prompt in managing the crowd, she was diligent in juggling many tasks, and went the extra mile. Knowing we had a stroller and baby with us, she kept us updated on the queue and made sure to seat us in the corner. Later, we saw her keep an eye on kids whose parents were queuing, even carrying a little boy away from a dog who was barking at him. She is a gem! ?

A little pricey but the grilled flatbread with mushrooms was good. I loved their lemon pound cake which was moist and Swedish cinnamon bun. Drinks would be considered normal cafe standard though I personally like the cappuccino from Plain Vanilla instead, which is a few metres away.

Love the concept of the cafe. A tiny store front, no frills menu, with seats by the road or in front of the cafe. Both good for enjoying a nice brunch. Bread is fresh and coffee smells great. Very nice place to start the day!

The toasts are amazing - if not the best you can find in Singapore. Fresh bread, excellent toppings, great coffee. Really liked their seasonal ricotta tartine. Wish I knew this place earlier!
