We engaged Jason through a friend recommendation and he did not disappoint. We only require a semi reno and consulted him about customizing a platform bed and he gave ideas and take in ideas from us which we appreciated it alot. Whenever we have questions he will be able to answer promptly. We requested amendments to the furniture and he tries his best to meet our needs. We are satisfied with the workmanship quality of the things that are done. Most importantly the schedule of works are done within the time frame that we requested like painting of the living room as we need to place the altar first. Overall, Jason is a professional and helpful designer who will does his best for your needs for your house.

Right from the onset, Jason/ELPIS was responsive and quick to understand my vision for the apartment. I was already impressed with the portfolio of past properties that he worked on, but Jason truly stood out with his design ideas, approachability and reliability - all of which are aspects that I look for in the Interior Designer whom I choose to work with. Jason was also very patient to answer my many questions and to share his design perspectives, in turn making my home-making process a very enjoyable and educational one. Other than being able to achieve the vision within budget and on time, what I truly appreciated was Jason's design finesse and dedicated work ethic. He was always there to go the extra mile and to provide the extra finishing touches. Thank you to Jason and the ELPIS team for helping me put together my lovely sanctuary :)

Jason was the first ID I spoke to when I decided to renovate my resale unit. It was clear that he was experienced in his work, and was able to grasp a good understanding of my preferences, and suggested design ideas to fit my lifestyle needs. His ideas were very practical, and was able to advise me on options so that I kept pretty close to my intended budget. Throughout the entire renovation process, Jason was very prompt in providing updates and rectified any issues that popped up along the way, making it totally fuss-free for me. My house now looks exactly as I had envisioned, and made even better with the little things that Jason had recommended! Will definitely recommend Jason to anyone who wants to renovate their place!

Stepher and Eddy were professional and timely during the renovation process as well as fixing defects post reno. They gave good suggestions to design and materials. Overall I'm very satisfied with the renovation project.

This is not our first home renovation, and we are seeking a reliable ID for our renovation this round due to our commitment to our work. After visiting many IDs, including Zhiqi and Fredrick, who was recommended by my friend, we decided to go with them. We loved Zhiqi’s design which was close to our living lifestyle and theme. We wanted a bright and airy place where Zhiqi could meet our requirements. Our meetings were always fruitful as they provided loads of samples, practical advice, and ideas. I am also impressed with her 3D drawings and mood board. She takes every measurement of our current furniture and includes them in the 3D graphics. This helps us to visualize the final result. Frederick had offered for a site inspection to check the house’s conditions. He can determine if requires hacking work needs to be done on flooring. Thankful for his initiative and we managed to save some cost. During the renovation process, they always keep us updated on the progress. Frederick was on top of things and strong in problem-solving. Our flat was an old flat, and there were many unforeseen issues; Frederick was quick to rectify them. They also helped us coordinate and check other contractors’ work progress (e.g., Windows, air-con, doors). It has been a very restful renovation journey, and we don’t have to visit the site as often as we should. I loved the design for a vanity area in our main bedroom. Despite our small bathroom size, it adds so much vibe and is very practical. I also loved the glass panel design in our main bedroom because it is our request to have more lights in our room. We were disappointed with our kitchen’s fluted glass sliding doors. It turns out not as our expectation. Perhaps communications could be improved to avoid misunderstandings. Overall, we were delighted with the finished product, especially the quality, workmanship on carpentry, and tiling work. Thank you, Zhiqi and Frederick, for making our cozy home lovely, bright, and comfy to stay in. We had already recommended them to some of our friends because they are reliable and friendly. Elpis Interior Design was one of the first few ID firms whom we met up with. Zhi Qi and Frederick gave us such sincere, reliable and comfortable vibes during our first meetup, and this positive impression stuck with us even after meeting a few IDs after them. We decided to go with them as soon as we concluded our search process. During the first meetups before signing, they listened intently and worked their design ideas according to our budget and requests. Their mood boards and designs also vibed the most with us. During the renovation process, they communicated every stage of project completion to us promptly and it was such a relief to us given that we did not have the time to go down to check on the progress as we were busy with work and our toddler. We were really appreciative of ZQ for her strong flair of design, for patiently accommodating our multiple design and colour palette revisions, and going down with us to buy our lightings and sanitary fittings. We were also appreciative of Frederick for his strong project management skills and quick rectifications of any issues. One thing we really appreciated was that Frederick always puts himself in our position as a home owner, as there were many occasions whereby we found that he went the extra mile to consider the practicality of the position of some fittings in our home and went out of the way to rectify/change something that was already installed, just so that it would make our life more convenient when we are living in the house. This was even without us considering or realizing it! He could have simply waited for us to raise or just let it be. This is one value adding aspect that we truly appreciate given that we are first time home owners! ZQ and Frederick were practical and realistic in managing our expectations and timeline, and didn’t overpromise on anything, yet they managed to complete the renovation earlier than we expected. Aside from their experience, strong project management and design skills, they were meticulous throughout the whole project, and we found that the carpentry workmanship was good! It was really such a breezy, smooth and pleasant renovation experience, and we were really fortunate and glad to have engaged and met ZQ and Frederick for our first home renovation project (especially after hearing lots of horror ID stories from other people). They exceeded our expectations in so so many ways! Thank you so much for making our first dream home come true and we will definitely recommend them to anyone who is looking for a reliable and sincere ID!

We interviewed many IDs and finally settled on Elpis because of the positive vibes we felt with them - Zhi Qi was very strong in design flair while Fred had practical experience and knowledge in the renovation works. They laid out all the costs in a transparent fashion and were cautious about timeline, not overpromising on the handover date in these difficult pandemic times yet managed to complete ahead of time. Their communication was prompt despite their many projects and they accommodated most of our requests despite us being rather demanding because this was our second home and needed to cater to the various needs of our large family. When our requests were not feasible, they were patient in explaining why and even substantiated with photos of undesirable outcomes and logical justifications (e.g. herringbone vinyl). They were very hands on in the whole renovation process, managing the different subcontractors and even helping us check the quality of goods and furnishings received at the home. This was very helpful to us as we were often busy juggling work and kids and could not always be around to check on the progress of the renovation. Perhaps the communication with electricians and plumbers could have been improved because some errors in electrical fixtures and waterworks had to go back and forth couple of times between different people until they were finally fixed. We were very satisfied with the high quality of carpentry, especially in integrating LED strip lighting, strong hinges for the rounded bend and well crafted compartments finished off nicely with high quality laminate. Carpentry was especially important to us due to huge need for storage and it being the bulk of the renovation costs as well. There was also a lot of attention to detail which assured us that these carpenters were masters of their craft. We especially appreciate Frederick's post-completion touch ups as well, rectifying minor errors promptly and swiftly. Our experience with Elpis was overall a very satisfying and delightful one, hence we would not hesitate to recommend them to our friends and family in need of a breathtaking yet practical and affordable overhaul of their home. ?

Out of all the different IDs that we have met, ELPIS stood out the most in terms of pricing and ideas. We meet up with Jason once to discuss our requirements and on the second meeting, he presented his ideas for our new home. My wife and I were totally sold by his ideas. What he had envision for our new home was the exact same ideas we had in mind. Work started a month later after we had signed the agreement. Due to the ongoing safe distance management during that period of time, there were lots of restrictions for the contractors. However, Jason managed to get all the work completed as per the work schedule that was provided to us. There were some hiccups along the way but everything was resolved in a smooth manner. Jason was very approachable and we can always relied on him to get the issue sorted out with the contractors when it was not deem satisfactory. I would highly recommend anyone who is looking to renovate your home to engage with ELPIS. You should least them as one of your considerations when deciding to renovate your home. They are reasonable in their pricing and provide good ideas for your new home.
