Emerald Garden - 33 Club St

Good location with lots of fb outlets in the vicinity.

The property is screaming "prime location". Situated walking distance from tourist spots like Merlion, Esplanade, chinatown and clarke quay, it gives you unparallelled access to world renowed places in Singapore. CBD is just a stone-throw away and walking distance from Raffles so its also a short 7 mins walk if you're working there. Walking outside the condo gives you a feeling of nostalgia and allows you to stroll down the memory lane as it is situated along the colorful Club street conserved shophouses. As soon as you enter the unique chinese architecture entrance and courtyard, there is a feeling of tranquility and eliminates the rustling and bustling of city scape. Me and my wife fell in love with the place that we decided to buy a unit here last week. It is the only 999-yr leasehold in District 1 as of this writing so while the sail, marina bay residences, clift and other 99-yr leasehold condos loose value over the years, this condo retains its value for the next hundreds of years and good for your next generation family. Emerald Garden is a rare gem, one of a kind condo that is unique among its class.

Small kidney pool. Good location. Nuisance when roads are closed on fridays and saturdays for the night life as entrance is usually blocked by pple walking .. sone tipsy and taxis dropping off people . From photo.. it looks like management is weak as they tolerate laundry hanging where its not supposed to.

The location is good. The facilities are old. The swimming pool is small.

Great location bars and restaurants just at front of the Appartment. Walking distance to marina bay sand and very close to china town food street and mrt. Small and half in shade swimming ,not enough sun bed during weekends. (to experience to rent compare with out where flexibilities)

Perfect location between Raffles Place, Tanjong Pagar and Chinatown. Everything you would need is very easy to get to from there. Most of the units are a very livable size and layout. There is lots of parking for residents and a good gym and swimming pool. The staff are all very nice.

It is a quiet green and clean oasis in the heart of the city. As I heard from some people, there were storiess of spooky happenings in the dead of the night. Seems that the victims of the Shook Ching during the Japanese occupation were trapped in the space-time dimension. Don't take me seriously. However, what adds to the colors of the estate is the numerous pubs and food outlets but the hues are no longer has the pull, thanks to the Covid-19.

This is not a residential-, but a construction site. I have been here for a bit more than a year and there has been permanent construction/renovation noise from units around (both with and without renovation permits). I get that it is the owners right to do renovation but I also firmly believe it is the condo management's responsibility to manage it, so as to minimize inconvenience for other tenants. I simply do not understand how they could allow four months of straight renovation (see image), daily (including Saturday), in a time where everyone is working from home. Note that this is just the latest one and that there have been at least two other units renovating for several months before this. I provided feedback several times, suggesting they could shorten the renovation time on certain days, for example, so that you could at least take calls/meetings around that - but the latest permit shows how much the condo management really cares. Fortunately my lease expires soon and this is going to be it for me with Emerald Garden. If you are considering moving in and that you could handle it - wait until you have moved in, and then you will think about this review.
