Boss at Serangoon North can repair bicycles fast and effective. I already brought my bicycle to him a few times for ad-hoc servicing and each time the price quoted is very affordable to me. I trust him with my bike.

IF YOU'RE LOOKING FOR AN HONEST REVIEW, LOOK HERE. AS THE CABLE TO GEAR OF MY BIKE HAD SNAPPED, I CAME TO THE SHOP WANTING TO HAVE IT REPLACED. GOT IT REPLACED, NO PROBLEM. THE PROBLEM AROSE ONLY WHEN I TESTED IT OUT. I TOLD THE PERSON WHO ATTENDED TO ME EARLIER THAT THE GEAR WON'T CHANGE PROPERLY. HE GOT AGITATED AND SAID,"NO, IT'S LIKE THAT ONE, IT'S LIKE THAT ONE." I DISAGREED WITH HIM AND SAID NO, IT WASN'T LIKE THIS BEFORE. THAT'S WHEN THE INCREDIBLE THING HAPPENED: HE TOOK OUT A WIRE CUTTER AND CUT THE CABLE THAT HE HAD FIXED ONTO TO MY BIKE AND SAID: " I GIVE YOU BACK YOUR MONEY, YOU GO FIND OTHER SHOP." I WAS SHOCKED. I TOOK MY MONEY AND LEFT. DESCRIPTION OF THE PERSON: ABT. 50Y.O. , BESPECTACLED, USUALLY WEARS A SLEEVELESS TOP, HAVE A TATTOO ON HIS SHOULDER. V. EASY TO SPOT HIM SO WATCH OUT, PEOPLE. GOT CHARGED $20 JUST TO HAVE THE CABLE REPLACED BTW. ANOTHER SHOP I WENT TO AFTERWARDS CHARGED $12. SO PEOPLE, YOU'VE BEEN WARNED. IF I CAN GIVE 0 STAR, I'D GIVE 0 STAR. WHAT A WASTE OF MY TIME, THAT EXPERIENCE WAS. INCIDENT HAPPENED ON SAT.12FEB2022, ABT. 2PM.

Had a inner tube of one tire replaced for $12. The gentleman with a tattoo was helpful and nothing like what was described of him in some of the reviews here.

Very good, warm and welcoming. Had a old vintage flying pigeon and only through his expertise could settle all issues. Had very good chat and honest opinions about his personal bicycles and previous owned bicycles. Repaired sheared off brake caliper, Changed pedals, some minor servicing done. Will return and hope to see his new folding bicycle self designed model in coming months.

Been here several times for various issues for my and my mom's foldies, every single time all it took was 5-10 mins of diagnosis / adjustment and following his advice they were fixed. He even took the initiative to re-oil the chains FOC as he felt they were dry. Not sure if the comments are for the boss at Serangoon North; if so, my personal opinion is that he may come across as though he doesn't care about your business and maybe to an extent that's true, but my experiences with him were that he didn't care about pandering to your need for great customer service and being politically correct like the larger bike shops - Be respectful, wait your turn, listen carefully to what he has to say and you probably won't be disappointed with the wealth of knowledge he has to share. Else, you'd probably prefer one of the bigger name shops but to me this is a great LBS and I'm happy with it the way it is.

Bought a Polygon Cascade 3 MTB . Uncle has good service and knowledge . Very happy with the bike.

Did a test seeing what other people say about the boss is true. I sent my bike who had a problem out to repair. Asked my Malay friend to go for me, boss said "Sorry cant help". Went there myself with exactly the same bike with the same problem. Boss : "Sure thing". Fixed in 12 minutes. Well I have no doubt that he is a mechanical expert when it comes to bicycles. I have a problem with him not being a decent human being.
