they only have 2 items. the dan dan mian is a must try. the duck noodles are ok if u like al dente noodles and love clear, light but tasty broth. u queue. choose. pay. then sit. u have a max 30min to eat n leave in the small space. the exuberance and proactive friendliness of staff makes u wana eat faster so as to give the customers outside a chance to experience the food and human touch. I strongly recommend this place. go early to queue. no reservations i think.

Amazing experience! Really cozy place with only 9 seats. The staff are all very friendly. I liked the fry noodle more, as it had stronger flavours than the soup noodle. Could request for free rice to mix with the remaining sauce after finish the noodles For the noodle soup, the soup base was light with refreshing hints of lemon zest. Thick slices of char siew and smoked duck garnished the noodles. Overall 10/10!

Possibly one of the best ramen for its own unique flavours. Restaurant mainly offers 2 type ramen: dandan (dry) and dashi (soup) . The dandan ramen allows a customisable range of spiciness and its taste can change after adding different types of vinegar. You can also top it off with free rice at the end that soaks up the sauces for a indescribable experience.

Two styles of ramen from the forefront of the current ramen trends in Japan, served in a ramen-ya that closely replicates the experience that you would get in Japan itself. Here at Enishi, the subtle flavours of clear “dashi” ramen coexist happily alongside robust, almost satay-sauce / gado-gado kinda sludgy peanut-laden tantanmen. It’s a juxtaposition that is echoed in the setting: the master and his food prep area dominates the centre of the tiny restaurant with counter seating around it, just like you’ve seen a million times in film and on your holidays to Japan… But you’re in Singapore and the staff are all local. It’s wonderful and discombobulating at the same time. You don’t know if the master will tell you off for talking too loudly over your meal, or whether you should say ごちそうさまでした when you’ve finished eating (because the ramen is seriously THAT good). In a way, Enishi is a proof of concept for presenting the Japanese tiny hole-in-a-wall ramen joint to a market that is used to viewing ramen as a “restaurant” meal. Here’s hoping that they prosper and stick around for some time to come.

Walked past this small restaurant on a quiet Friday night. Saw the interesting sign about dashi soup base and Dan Dan ?. Mentioned about Michelin Guide too so plucked up courage to try this unusual food. Here, the dry Dan Dan ? is flat and springy. Ingredients include diced char siew, duck ? meat, onions, fried shallots, minced pork, sprouts, and soft boiled egg ?. Sauce is peanut based with lemon ? vinegar. Mix well and try the original taste. Then add chilli condiments, vinegars or dashi to try different combos. Personally, I think original, or with some chilli is ?. I did not like too much vinegar. Adding dashi soup dilutes the peanut sauce. Warning: extremely filling. The dashi soup ramen is great because of the umami laden yet clear taste. Paired with nice charred char siew and duck slices. ? Service is friendly. Plain water is available. Remember to ask for the instructions sheet for first-timers.

While looking through Google Maps, this little Japanese Ramen place popped up. Clicking on it shows that this place has a very high review score on Google Maps, hence the decision to drop by International Plaza was made. Enishi is located on the 2nd floor of International Plaza just to the left of the escalator by the 7-ELEVEn at the 1st floor. Enishi hails from Kobe, Japan, and is a current recipient of the Michelin Bib Gourmand Japan Award. Specialising in Dashi Ramen and Dan Dan Noodle, Enishi is leading the change of the Ramen broth from the end of the Tonkotsu (Pork Bone Broth) to the new Kombu derived Dashi. In Singapore, their outlet here only serves 100 bowls a day, so one has to join the queue if one wishes to enjoy a meal here. The Signature Ramen served has a really rich dashi that goes very well with the Ramen and the Duck Meat is very succulent and yummy. The Char-Siu is tender and has a good mix of fat and meat. If one has any dashi left at the end of the meal, one can even ask for a free Mini Japanese Rice to mix it in with to enjoy. The Dan Dan Noodle is full of flavours and very fragrant. Served with a semi-cooked egg, the mix of flavours gave each mouthful an explosion that is oh so wonderful. Asking for the free Mini Japanese Rice to mix in gave it another wonderful experience. This was definitely a great find and worth returning for to enjoy. General Verdict: Great new Japanese Ramen concept that is worth the visit and the time. Patience is rewarded with really yummy food. This is quite the hidden gem in international plaza 2F. I think this is one of the best ramen places in sg. They do a dashi ramen (which I had this time) and also a Dan Dan mian which I will try next time I come. The dashi ramen is really al dente and the soup is very flavourful. This ramen bar is a small shop with only 8-9 seats so you might have to queue a bit but it’s definitely worth it. A small plate of rice is free when requested , good for soaking up any of the ramen soup or Dan Dan sauce. The service is good and staff are nice and they greet you very properly (Japanese way) when you come in and when you leave. As a bonus they also gave out a complementary Hokkaido cheese cake dessert for takeaway when you finish. Very nice of them. Overall definitely worth coming, I will be back soon!!

Excellent place for authentic ramen. It is a hidden gem inside the mall. The seating is limited and there usually is a waiting line. You can mark your order on a laminated menu. The broth was rich in Umami and flavourful. You can ask for extra chili oil if needed and they have all the cutlery you'll ever need. Must go if you're hankering for an authentic taste!
