β β β β β Forget food bloggers. What's more comforting than your neighbourhood's food? This uncle's fried bee hoon has got me coming back for more. Even his carrot cake is a must try! Many go for his char kway teow!

β β β β β Used to love having breakfast at this coffee shop. But the cleanliness state leaves much to be desired. Tables and chairs are never clean, these days I bring along wet tissues to wipe it myself. The floor have a coat of oily feel to it and sometimes with lots of peanut husks and cigarette ash scattered all over the floor from the night before. Worse the plates used for soft boil eggs are also not washed properly, you'll find harden egg stains on it, have to clean it before use. The taste of the coffee and tea is never consistent, my boyfriend called it "tea roulette", depends on your luck if it taste nice. Only reason I go there is because it's near my house and is relatively quiet and is getting quieter, probably because of all the reasons above.

β β β β β Don't let the name deceive you. This is a neighbourhood coffee shop with a few stalls. You can get a larger selection of beers at this coffeeshop, but it is still pretty much a typical eatery in Singapore. Food is decent. The seafood soup stall draws a crowd at lunch time, but it is expenaive by Singapore neighborhood standards.

β β β β β A must try roasted delights in this coffee shop. Roasted pork is crispy and roasted duck is tender. Free soup is also very tasty and come with cabbage.
This stall was previously located at 164 Tampines St 12 (always long queue) and shifted to here in 2019.
