My fiancee and I had decided very early on that we were not going for a diamond engagement ring, due to the ethical, geopolitical and environmental issues the diamond industry causes. After some research, we settled on moissanite as the centre-stone, with a knife-edge hidden halo. I found Simon of Esta Signature Diamonds through an online search. Armed with no more that a few pictures taken off the web, I met up with him, no idea what size should the ring be and what metal the ring will be. He patiently explained the properties of moissanite, and also the pros and cons of white gold vs platinum. He lent me a ring sizer (in fact he provided two different ones just to be sure) to measure the size of my fiancee's finger so that I can keep it as much of a surprise to her as possible. After getting the size and deciding on using platinum, he quoted a very reasonable price. Throughout the production process, I was provided with timely updates about drawings, production and delivery. When I collected the ring, I was pleasantly surprised at how great the ring turned out, exceeding my expectations. Most importantly, my fiancee was delighted with the ring as well. Given the top-notch service, excellent workmanship and quality of moissanite in terms of clarity and colour, it was absolutely value for money. Very highly recommended!

The owner is very knowledgeable therefore he is able to provide good and wise advice. He do offer a wide range of gemstones, man-made, lab-grown and natural. After discussing with him about my requirements for my ring, he did up a CAD version of it and he constantly updates me about the progress of my ring. It is the place to go for customized rings and it provides great value for the price.
