β β β β β Very tiny gallery and not really worth a special trip. Only a rudimentary nod to the community which has been a pillar of Singapore

β β β β β Wasn't here for the gallery, was here for the HEMA club instead.
The staff was nice and kind, I'm sure they'll be nice and helpful to you at the gallery too!

β β β β β History and photos of illustrious Sg Eurasians and real spicy hot Serani food and desserts from Quentin's make this a place worth patronising. Doggos friendly and throw-in water for them too...?

β β β β β This is a HIDDEN GEM that we found on Burple! It's access is straightforward from the bus stop or any other means on transport. The restaurant is on the ground level to the Eurasian Cultural Center and has a comfortable setting which resembles architecture from not too long ago!
Firstly, the ordering was done through an iPad and the interface was quite simple and easy. The good thing was that they weren't loaded with too many options. Secondly, their service was prompt, as the food served from the kitchen was hot and freshly made.
We ordered 2 portions of rice followed by 2 mains, the Prawn Bostador (star of my lunch) and Chicken Vindaloo (a Singaporean version of a Goan recipe). Both were amazing but one forward-looking feedback was to cook the prawns for maybe a minute longer as it was just under. The freshness of the prawns were on point and it was done well.
Would I come again and order the Prawn Bostador? Abso-friggin-lutely YES!!!! Me and my wife are coming back again and possibly with our extended families too.
We finished lunch with a Gula Melaka Lava Cake, and it was quite rich and a delight to eat. I only have memories of those few incredible moments of eating the dessert!
5/5 and will recommend to anyone who wants to try this place. I have added it to must eat places to my list in Singapore!!

β β β β β For the gallery alone, it isnβt worth a special trip. Iβd probably visit if I happened to be in the area and Iβm between appointments.
There are only 3 small galleries occupying the fourth floor and you will be able to finish viewing all the exhibitions in about half an hour. However, I did find the history of Euroasians contextualized in Singapore to be pretty interesting. Perhaps itβd be more worthwhile to pair the visit to the gallery with lunch at Quentinβs to make the trip worthwhile.
