★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Love the chicken rice here. Chicken is rly soft, rice is good & soup is delicious! Be warned, the chilli is v spicy! Spiciest chicken rice chilli I’ve had! Seafood dishes were okay. Just a few comments. Black pepper chicken could use chunkier meat in a lesser portion rather than thin meat, bigger portion as some of it felt like fats. The chap chye had an abundance of Halia (Ginger) but it wasn’t an issue!
Restaurant is v quiet during weekday lunches ? Air-conditioned & casual? Will be back if I’m in Joo Chiat. Plus point is the multiple confectioneries around the area! Curry puffs, kuih kuih & bread etc?
Do try it you’re looking for a good contender for the best halal chicken rice :) You won’t be disappointed!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Ordered the roasted chicken rice with oyster kailan from grabfood. The food was ready within 10 minutes. I was surprised by how good the rice and chilli sauce was - the portion was just right and it was warm and delicious. Highly recommended to try Evertop if you're looking for halal chicken rice.

Chicken rice is above average but comes with great soup base. Extremely fragrant and tasty. Yummy yum yum.
Ayam penyet was a disaster with cold and tough chicken drumstick that makes it difficult to chew on.
Fried chicken with lemon sauce was good. Crispy and yet tender.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Been a couple of years, yet the chicken rice still maintain the same taste as before. Love the sauce?soup is ok. Portion of chix & rice can be slightly more, considering the pricing... but, still affordable.
Not so good : 1) certain drinks, like lychee & strawberry float, are overly priced. 2) roast duck noodle has lots of room for improvement. 3) generally, food portions need to be slightly increased if they want to stick to the current pricings.
Overall, main highlight is still the chicken rice (personal fav is the steamed chix) wanted to give only 3-stars, but added 1 more for the taste of chix rice + prompt service ?
