β β β β β Beef Noodles (SGD $10.80) @ Yi Zun Noodle.
.
Founded by Madam Aisha, this muslim-owned eatery opened in May 2015, specialising in Chinese Qinghai style beef noodles, made using an authentic family receipe.
.
Their soup is made from scratch by stewing fresh beef bones for over 3 hours, creating a distinct meaty sweet savoury flavour, light yet delicious.
.
Each batch of hand-pulled noodles is made by hand-mixing wheat flour, then kneading the dough for up to 30 minutes, resulting in a beautiful springy chew to texture. Choose from 6 different styles of thickness, from thin to wide & flat.
.
Completed with tender marinated beef shank with meaty savoury salty spice flavour, juicy daikon radish with vegetal sweet notes, and crisp spring onions with a refreshing vegetal herbal taste. Option to add chili on the side, for a mild spicy profile.

β β β β β Compared to last year, I feel the standard has dropped. Wide flat noodleβs texture is different, feels machine made. Taste of ε·ι¦ιΈ‘ is slightly different too, felt itβs more msg flavoured. Specially came down but am really disappointed.

β β β β β Authentic halal Chinese food at really affordable prices, I super love this place! Staff are really helpful and nice, love the glass viewing gallery so we can watch the chefs pull noodles, and great food!
The grilled fish is a steal, at $18+ you get a whole fish in spicy soup, along with a tonne of vegetables making it a complete meal on its own. The vegetables are really delicious too! Pro tip: Get the hand-pulled noodles without anything, mix it with the dipping chilli. Right out of YouTube, watching Food Ranger enjoy street food in China haha!
I love this place, my family loves this place, canβt wait to be back when we can dine in groups more than 2 :)

β β β β β This is a halal diner serving North West Chinese cuisine. Owned by a Chinese muslim, Mdm Aisha who is from that province.
They have many signature dishes and their specialty is the traditional Xinjiang beef noodles.
The dishes that shown here were those that I have tried before. Not to be mistaken by the mala dish, although the aromatic spices gave an almost similar whiff but the hotness is mild so you can request for more spicy! The seafood fried hand-pulled noodle was really good.
The chicken dumplings were silky and smooth as they swim in that rich broth and dap that chilli oil to binds them altogether! Heavenly!
The grilled mutton and chicken have the right amount of spices. It was tender and soft. The mutton was skewered using a cherry branches as how it was done traditionally.

β β β β β The lamb skew is tender and juicy but lack of spice and some taste gamy. The salted veg fish taste ok but use cheaper fish quality could be better . The beef is super tender too much tenderiser lost the beef flavour but the sauce is tasty. Nice dinning environment. The standard and flavour acceptable for a halal restaurant.

β β β β β The skewers and noodle soup are both fantastic. It's halal so no alcohol served.
We got the pickled beef noodle soup. The broth had a clean but rich flavor. The noodles are so chewy and flavorful, we ended up getting a second order.
The lamb skewers are cooked on bambo skewers... Not sure what it adds in terms of flavor but the lamb pieces were big n juicy. I'd skip the chicken wing skewers, it was nothing special
