Family Dental Centre Dental @uni - 70 Stamford Rd

Patronized this clinic in December 2020 for a basic check-up and was told to return for another appointment for filling in Jan 2021. Even though I had an appointment booked the first time, I was made to wait 1.5hrs and it appeared that they had forgotten to attend to me. For the second appointment, wait was short but experience with the doctor was not pleasant. I was being asked for which tooth required the filling, instead of him doing a proper check and everything was done within minutes. There was no warmth in the service, both appointments had chatty, disinterested doctors and assistants. Instructions were also not clearly given. Overall, they can really work on how they provide their service so that a patient feels comfortable and attended to.

Dr Tammy was extremely nice and patient. Very gentle too. Highly recommended! :-)

Very unprofessional service, have been with this dental clinic for 2 years + for my braces package and everytime I'm there, I have to wait for a while before my turn, regardless of when I turn up on time, early or late. The dentist seems to really pack his schedule to the max...and is really overbooked. As customers, we would appreciate if our time was respected as well, it's not just your time as a dentist which is important. What's even worse is the last 2 times when I went back for my post-braces dental check-up, over the 1 year after I took off my braces, there was always a long queue before me and I could only see the dentist after a 20 - 35 mins wait. And when it's finally my turn, the dentist didn't even really checked my teeth alignment (????????) and I spent less then 5 mins in the room, so I basically wasted my time (my traveling time, waiting time and examination time) for NOTHING! I definitely wouldn't go back to this clinic for any other dental services and would rather patronise other dental clinics which are more professional and is respectful towards their clients' time.

I had an amazing experience here at FDC. The dentist was super kind and patient in explaining the risks and during the entire braces procedure. Thank you for the great service.

Unprofessional service. Doctor keeps hopping across rooms, making the wait longer. Additionally, it is already past opening hours but xray machine not turned on by staff, make people wait again.... First and last time here.

The entire chain is unprofessional. I do not recommend doing braces/invisalign with them. My friend has been doing her braces treatment with them for 6-7 years. For the past 4 months, she has difficulty scheduling an appointment and she isnt the only one. After looking through their FB page, there has been multiple complaints from others who faced the same issue. Not answering and taking responsibility to a patient because the dentist is charge has left is just unprofessional. Delaying follow up session is a known fact that will result in the delay of the whole treatment duration. If the dental clinic doesn't care , I bet any treatment they do would have been done half-heartedly as well. Singapore has plenty of options, there's no need for one to go through all these unpleasant experiences. I do hope Google can allow a Zero rating system soon, and I would not hesitate to give them one.

Do not recommend people to do braces here. Bad service from rude staff, long and questionable braces treatment process. Staff also busy chit chatting most of the time. Wanted to get receipts printed out but seems like management has instructed staff not to do so. So far only able to communicate with call centre staff but has never heard an apology from the management regarding the dentist suddenly leaving and no other dentist willing to take up my case. Unethical!

Just saw the dentist for my general cleaning and maintenance. The dentist was so gentle, patient, thorough. Had an xray and filling done as per Dr Tammy’s recommendations, and it was a seamless and stress-free experience for me. Very patient assistant too when I had to reschedule my appointment multiple times. Thank you so much! Will be back in 6 months :)
